Last week I went to AutoZone and a gentleman by the name of Jose Rios was so kind and helpful to me. He helped me place a light by my license plate in extreme heat and not once complained and I was so touched by his service that I wanted to share my experience with you guys. This AutoZone at this location is amazing and the employees like Jose Rios are very helpful and the best.

Got there late because the time online (10pm) was different from in person (9pm) but a Autozone Employee named Joe opened up and said to come on in & helped me with a return for the proper fuel filter I needed for a 2 stroke engine.

The staff seems like they all would like to be somewhere else, I ordered and paid for a part and was told that it would be at this autozobe the next day by 9am. Here at 530pm and the staff hasn't a clue where my part is and they aren't lifting a finger to find out about anything. Also, heard profanity when the employees were talking amonget themselves without trying to help me.. Was ultimately told that they didn''t order the part. They said I would have to wait an additional day and that's' it.. Not even an apology given and I was extremely polite to them. Poor staff attitudes and a disappointing experience.

We were helped by David Covarrubias today. What a great guy! He fixed our Jeep’s transponder key for us. Most places would have tried to sell us an expensive key fob. We will be coming back to this Auto Zone in the future because the people working there have integrity and take care of the customer.

So normally I don’t leave reviews, but I had a bad experience today that I felt needed to be posted. I bought some windshield wipers the day before this incident and was having trouble putting them on. So I came back the next day to ask for help and see that I bought the right ones as well. Two employees helped me with the windshield wipers. One of them might have been a manager or at least an employee who knew what they were doing and went outside to teach the other employee, who had no idea how to change windshield wipers.
So the competent employee/manager changed one no problem, but had to go back inside regarding another issue with a power outage that happened a few minutes earlier and left me with the other employee. So as the other employee was trying to change the second windshield wiper, I noticed he was having difficulty and was putting it on the wrong way. I gave him a minute or two hoping he would figure it out, but he didn’t. So to help, all I said was “the wiper actually needs to go on the other way after you lift the latch.” He then says “Look man I don’t like you telling me what to do. I’m here trying to learn and figure this S#!@ out and you’re here telling me how to do my job. I don’t like that. If you knew how to change these things yourself, why did you even bother coming here to ask us to do this S#!@ for you?” I then said “I wasn’t trying to belittle or insult you. I was just trying to help you out.” To which he proceeds to rudely hand me the windshield wiper and say “Well here. If you know how to do it, why don’t you turn it the right way and tell me how it goes.” I do so and he was able to then put it on.
While I appreciate the help I was given, I have never encountered such a rude employee in my entire life. His way of talking with foul language wasn’t just limited to our exchange alone. He also talked nonchalantly the same way with the same foul language to the other employee in store with other customers inside. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location ever again and I don’t recommend anyone do so either if AutoZone chooses to hire people like this and keep them onboard.
