We had a Nissan Altima with 150k miles in need of a major tune up! We got it towed over, given a great estimate with a fantastic breakdown and customer service. Had it back up and running in 2 days having that car in like new condition! Highly recommend you give them a shot!

I'm not one to leave my vehicle at a shop to get fixed, but was having transmission issues in my 93 burban, so I gave auto z repairs a shot. Trucks running and shifting good now thanks to them. It's an old beat up burban but glad to be behind the wheel again. Appreciate it.Service: Transmission

0 star, PLEASE CHECK REVIEWS the honest ones, (Dont make the same mistake i did) Customer Service or Communication is not Matt Zulaica strong suite. I would find it to be simple to let a customer know what is happening in the process of having your vehicle repaired. The TRUTH, I dropped my vehichle off on Monday 1/16/2023 for diagnostic, they were going thru my warranty. I was assured a follow up call would be placed to me the following day (Tuesday 1/17/2023) as the person that took my car in stated MATT ZULAICA was out on Monday. No call on Tuesday, on Wednesday I initiated a call to inquire, MATT answers and states he needs until 2pm and he will return my call that day. NO call, NO call on Thursday either. Friday around 10:45am I called AutoZ Repairs to again inquire about what was happening with my vehicle, MATT immediately says OH the Mercedes, I told you your warranty company wants me to redo the diagnostic its not me holding you up from your car its your warranty company, BUT feel free to come get your car because this will take about 2 more weeks before your get it back. Now MATT is extremely irritated, and possibly delusional as this is my first time speaking to him and his tone is less than professional, so I replied yes I will come and pick up my vehicle I will be on my way in just a few minutes he replied FINE, we will pull it out front. I then called my Warranty company to my suprise MATT, had never initiated a claim, they had no idea my vehicle was at AUTO Z REPAIRS, I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction for the treatment I recieved and I informed my warranty company that I was on my way to pick up my vehicle. The representative was extremely apologetic and also assisted me in finding 2 other repair shops that could assist me with my vehicle. oh now the good part....I arrived to 3 men standing at the front counter, I walk in and one of the gentlemens say oh the Mercedes, I say my name and I want to pick up my car, MaTT slames a paper infront of me and says you owe $50, I asked why, MATT says I got authorization from your warranty company. I replied oh let me call them back now, I walked over to the side and called my warranty company back they stated NO I was not to be charged, they also stated they recently has 2 calls from AUTO Z REPAIRS today within 20 minutes of each other about this claim. AUTO Z REPAIRS also told my warranty company I was impatient and wanted to take my car to another shop, they failed to mention they had my vehicle since Monday with no diagnostic done, on my paperwork it was written "customer has no time so shes is taking it somewhere else". WOW, unprofessional, RUDE and YOU seem to have trouble telling the truth. So THANK YOU AUTO Z Repairs for absolutely NOTHING, you did get $50 out of my warranty people sadly, I'm happy you didn't get to work on my vehicle due to your incompetence in dealing with a customer. God sees all, that gives me peace.

It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust also one that is open on Saturday. My truck needed transmission work. They got it done in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price. Their communication was great and they kept me informed throughout the process. My truck is shifting smoothly again and I have peace of mind with their warranty. Will definitely be returning for any of my future needs - Mike S

I had a phenomenal experience with Auto Z Repairs! The car I purchased was having some drivetrain issues, specifically the transmission and rear differential. Fortunately, I discovered it before the 100-day warranty was up. James submitted my claim with Speed and precision. Replacement parts are hard to find for my particular vehicle, so my claim was approved for a replacement manual transmission and rear differential (both used). The whole process for removal and reinstallation took about 3 weeks (had to wait for the parts to come in) but I didn't pay a cent. James and Matt kept me in loop and answered my questions whenever I called in for the latest status. This shop will be my new go-to for all of my automotive needs. Thank you so much to everyone at Auto Z Repairs! Feels good to be on the road again and to have a reliable cadre of professionals to have my back.

I agree 10000% with the review below!! This shop is SO EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Both James and Matt verbally attacked a young female and her mother that were PAYING CUSTOMERS came in asking a question and were humiliated, disrespected, and talked down to! I cannot believe the way these people treat their customers especially when their work cannot even speak for them. So much money paid to them and the problems are not fixed whatsoever!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE there are so many other options for an honest decent mechanic here in San Antonio they are not it. I’ll never waste my time at a shop like this again and I advise you do the same! Don’t make my same mistake! Only thing is now I’m out all that money and still don’t have the repairs done MY LOSS THEIR GAIN! What kind of business owner/manager and grown men at that speak to two females the way they did is beyond me! I will be warning everyone I know about this business!Services: Electrical repair

Disgusting "family owned" business. I would give 0 STARS. Just know that there is NO communication between owner and workers so it's a different story each time you talk to them and depending on who you talk to. These people are disgraceful, no morals, integrity or customer service skills! Part of the problem is that they can't remember half the things they say to a customer but sure know how to collect payment!Also, BEWARE If you ask ANY questions your going to be deemed a difficult customer and they won't want to deal with you, will write you off, and simply not give you the time of day.My advice is to take your vehicle somewhere else unless you're going to go along with their schemes and hand your money over blindly. Those are the customers they want!Take your hard earned money and business somewhere reliable, reputable, and established. Not this junkyard. Don't make the same mistake I did unfortunately OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN! LEFT THEIR SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES WITH THINGS STILL WRONG that they didn't tell me about! But they sent me on my way! GAVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT WENT BACK MULTIPLE TIMES AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL HAPPENING!
