Been to a few vets and clinics in San Antonio. Acorn is by far one of the best! I will continue to take my pets here. Adorable and super sweet staff!!

Acorn Hill was great all around for yearly physicals and vaccinations and they were very compassionate and took great care of our 18 year old poodle and our family when it was time to let her go. But twice now in a little over a year when our younger poodle has needed to see a doctor unexpectedly they were unwilling to help or even try. Both times I took her to another vet that had never seen her prior to that first time and both times they were willing to fit us in. I didn't mind waiting there for them to do so. I am very disappointed with Acorn Hill now and have transferred all her records and future care to the animal hospital that was willing to help. The original owner, Dr Johnson would never have been unwilling to even try to make an effort.

They are all!!!!! so nice and helpful and they really, really care about our fur babies. Even Skittles liked them ❤️❤️ Thank you all so much for being here. This will be my new vet for my fur babies ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I also have taken my Zorro to Acorn Hill Animal Hospital. Acorn Hill always eases my nerves of taking my anxious babies to the vet. They always treat us so kindly & have some of the most welcoming staff from the moment you check in. They’re always helpful, never judgmental, & so reassuring about any issues that my dogs may be having. So thankful to have them close to home!

Dr. Hartwig took great care checking my cat's health, condition and recommending treatments that would be helpful although I had only come in to update vaccines. The staff at check in were wonderfully nice and patient although my cat was making a fuss being caged. I will easily recommend this vet for any pet lovers.

Doctor Amber is the greatest, and so are the lab techs.and the girls up front, Up date Dr. Amber is no longer here.
They have their own clinic in Cibolo, Tx. City Vet. We will be going there. I had called(ACORN)to hush in my baby, and they told me I couldn't bring her in, that they were getting ready to close, and there was only 1 doctor available. I told them she is a patient there, and she said take her to the animal hospital. I told seriously, she said yes, and they were getting ready to close and only one doctor available, but they sure are fast to take your money when they want to get you in. Nope, I will not be back. Dr. Powell is no longer there.
