My family banked with Wells Fargo (and it many predecessors) for generations. At the end, the bank showed itself to be unprofessional and arrogant. Consider banking at First Financial, as it is the sort of bank one would expect in a West Texas city--they know who you are, understand your business and are always there to help.

It's ok. My spouse and I have a business account here as well as some personal checking accounts and a business savings account. Recently one drive-thru teller named Gloria has begun giving me a... weird... time when I try to deposit our business checks. She always asks me if I know about mobile deposit (yes, we do) and quizzes me on why I didn't mobile-deposit the checks I just sent swooshing over to her in the little plastic money capsule.Um, we usually try to do mobile deposits, but sometimes the mobile deposit fails (usually due to weirdly placed watermarks or background images). Obviously then I have to physically go to the bank. IDK what Gloria's deal is, but deposit-shaming is a new one to me.The other tellers act normal. They just deposit the money and thank me for coming by, but Gloria always does the "why didn't you use our mobile app to deposit this?" schtick and then tells me that she's putting a 2-day hold on the deposit because the bank has to verify the checks' authenticity. IF the other tellers also place holds on deposited funds they don't tell me about it, and I haven't noticed.Nowadays when I have to go to the bank and I happen to get in her line I just smile and nod and agree. Whatever. It's the bank that's closest.

I just relocated to the San Angelo area, and needed to open a banking account. When I came in, the guy who came in behind me was waited on first. I'm sure it was an oversight, but when Jacquelyn saw what happened, I didn't even get a chance to sit down. She immediately invited me into her office and took care of me. Jacquelyn was by far the most helpful, attentive and courteous person in banking that I've worked with yet! She was thorough, and worked to help me understand each of the plans being offered, and their benefits and weaknesses, to ensure I picked the right option for my needs. She had probably the most thorough knowledge of the app used to work with the bank, that I've ever seen "in any bank"!!! This woman is an "apple of GOLD" in your midst. Reward her, honor her, and utilize her many gifts. She is priceless!

This Wells Fargo branch was very nice. The inside is large and all the employees are friendly. Karen helped me get set up and did a great job!

Worst company ever customer service is a joke. 20 to 30 minutes to do one transaction is ridiculous. You're better off stuff in your money in a mattress than coming here

We adopted our daughter the same day sentencing was occurring for the Delacruz murder trial, as you can imagine there was no parking spots left at the courthouse. The adoption took all of 10 minutes, yet people had to miss it because Wells Fargo would not let us park there for 15 minutes and had to go move their car. Wells Fargo lost my business.

Love the Atm access.. hate going through drive thru. Always a 20 min+ wait with this place even when you are the only car in sight
