“They’ve always been able to squeeze me in. I have an older dog who has frequent-ish visits (once every 3-4 months there is an accident or injury of some kind). And they are always very helpful”

And it helps that the people there have an innate knack with animals. Not to mention that Karen is awesome! On a scale of 1 to 5, she gets a 10.
My German Shepherd never goes to anyone, very wary, but she went straight to the tech and the Dr. Frembgen.
Follow up care and concern was great too.

They had an emergency number to call, they actually answered the phone. From the initial phone call, through the exam and X-rays, the care and compassion shown were second to none. “Even though I had a little issue today with western veterinarian, I am going to say this. I gave them 5 stars because I had been going there for years. Gary is one of the best veterinarians you're going to come across. He has always gone above and beyond if he doesn't have an answer, he'll find one if there's to be found. I'm not very familiar with the other vets that work there but for the twenty five years that I have been here, gary has always been my vet. I am very sorry that you lost youre pet .But please don't blame that on Gary the simple fact is, sometimes our animals are not meant to be here for long, and sometimes they're meant to be here for a very long time.”
“Dr. Womack is very knowledgeable and has a great way with animals and owners. My dog was bitten by a snake and he couldn't have been more caring and compassionate. Ten years later she still loved him dearly. Two weeks ago I had to have her put to sleep and he was still very kind and caring -- with my dog and me both. His staff also were very kind and understanding.
I would very highly recommend Dr. Womack and Los Caballos to anyone looking for quality veterinarian care.”

“We’re traveling from Washington state to Florida and had several vehicle issues and realized we were almost out of our dogs pills! They were so helpful getting us in and doing an exam without any wait. They were able to get my dogs meds filled and also treated a minor ear issue. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. If we lived here they would be my choice vet! It was so nice be able to come in on a Sunday as well.”
“It’s been probably 10 years since you saved my dogs life. No one else is San Angelo would do the surgery for 2 weeks even though I begged and pleaded with them that my dog wouldn’t make it. After surgery I was afraid for her to be in a kennel alone all night so you let me pick her up and bring her home so she wasn’t alone.
Well Roxy lives in Alabama now and she’s 14 yo. She’s raised two kids me with. She’s a bit grumpy because of her age ? But it’s understandable!
I made a review a long time ago but idk the account to update it there. But I wanted to update.

“This is the first place I've been that I can just get vaccines without being charged an outrageous exam fee! My older pup went in for a teeth cleaning and had to have several teeth pulled and the price was HALF the price of our old vet. They also trimmed his nails which the groomers now refuse to do and cleaned his matted eyes from his overactive tear duct. I'm just so happy to be able to afford good service again.”

“Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!As most of y'all know, I don't recommend ANY place that doesn't bring SOMETHING to the table and I'm a "most bang for the buck" kinda guy..no one gets something (our money) for nothing..I had to take my dog to a vet to get a rabies shot and update boosters The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice and friendly, especially to my dog who's still a pup and VERY much an attraction getting, beautiful dog...lolThe wait time was a little longer as we showed up just after lunch, but not bad.The doc came in, talked with us for a minute, then said we were all set. Wait! Did I miss something? Apparently, while he was speaking with us, he gave the dog the required shots! I was looking right at him and neither me or the dog even noticed!! ??....I thought that was pretty awesome!Will I go back? Absolutely! Was it expensive? Not at all! Worth the few extra minutes wait time? Heck yeah..The vet knows what he's doing, throw in some slight of hand, magician stuff and it's off to the races! Me and my Burnese Mountain Dog Bailey thank y'all!”
