Bad management .

February 2024 by Casey Cloke
I lived here for about a year and could not wait to move out. Communication between management and residents is awful and they would routinely come into my unit without any notice. The equipment in the gym was always either broken or missing and seems like it has not been cleaned since the day they opened. And the move out requirements were RIDICULOUS. For example, professional cleaning of carpets was required, cleaning behind the fridge and ovens, changing lightbulbs required, etc. When I moved out my unit was spotless and they still did not give me my deposit back. Please do not live here and overspend on "luxury" housing. There are several better places in San Angelo for far better prices.EDIT: The BLVD has since responded to my review asking me to contact them to resolve issues. When I called and asked to speak to management, I was told they were busy and would give me a call back to discuss this issue further. That was over a week ago now .. This further proves my point of the lack of communication and care this apartment has for their residents.

In my 6 months being there I have learned that this place is horrible to live in. For move out we deep cleaned the apartment behind the fridge, oven and carpet and still charged us $150 for cleaning. Also be prepared to be charged for light bulbs that may be out during move out. Charged us to replace oven pot heater rings on an extremely old oven due to them being “scratched”. Rude customer service only nice before you sign and never answer phones.

Way too expensive for what you’re getting. They will nickel and dime you on the way out too. Please reconsider, especially if you’re military.

Parking is horrible. Cars left from people who don't even live here taking up parking for tenants. Whats the point of a gated community when everybody who doesn't live here but instead just here for the parties is taking up the parking spots. Tired of it

There are nicer places to stay in San Angelo that are more affordable. I thought they were luxury...not at all!! The walls are thin here and you will hear EVERYTHING. The gym onsite is missing weights, likely never cleaned. The pond is absolutely disgusting. The dog parks are disappointing. They allow any pets but will not keep anyone accountable for picking up. This apartment complex doesn't maintain their property. The way they care for the complex is a reflection of how they address concerns with the residents, simply uninterested and could care less. Do yourself a favor and go some place else.

Interior design was nice and no complaints. My warning comes to airmen stationed at Goodfellow. I would not recommend staying here, they price gouge you an extra months rent even if you have orders because you did not give 30 day notice ( even if you had to leave without a 30 day notice). Crazy electric charges when you have not even lived there for 2 months. I would not recommend for anyone in the air-force find another place to live that respects the military and is not tryna to take every cent from you for made up charges.

The interior of the apartments are nice and maintenance team has always been quick and efficient with our needs. As far as the exterior- there’s poor upkeep of the entire community. Grass is so dead and dry, when sprinklers are on they are pouring out into the road instead of grass. They do not uphold the pet policy so there’s dog feces everywhere even on sidewalks. The amenities are not kept up with as far as gym and pool. The pool is covered in algae it’s so gross I’ve never seen a pool in that condition before. The pond is disgusting idk why people bother fishing there. They are about to have an inspection from a lender and they are now scrambling trying to make the place look decent. It’s pretty obvious what’s going on here.

We moved into the BLVD almost 3 months now and while we are happy with our apartment we do feel like the community amenities and appearance could be WAY better. These apartments are labeled "luxury" but fail to keep up with the overall look and functionality of the community and amenities. In the resident handbook there's a strict pet policy to pick up after your pets or DNA testing will be done and you will be charged accordingly- I feel as if this is a lie. Everyday we are constantly coming across so much dog feces in the grass and even the sidewalks! There is minimal grass on the property and at that most of it is dead and filled with sandburs/ stickers that poke our dogs paws. Since being here for the 3 months I have only seen the sprinklers used once. I have called to complain about residents blatantly not picking up after their dog and even having dogs off the leash which is a huge safety concern for me as our dog has been attacked twice (@ previous apartments) and I'm in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and being put in a huge safety hazard if someone's dog does attack. I feel as if the office does not take your complaints seriously they just try to sympathize enough to agree with you and get you off the phone. There was one residents dog who did run up to our dog and got violent and no apology was made. The pool that we live next to has a TON of algae in it and it's wild that it was left to even get to that point, we've never seen a pool in that condition. The gyms look as if people are stealing equipment and being unhygienic not wiping the equipment down after use or placing it back where it belongs. The pond in the center of community is also just gross, looks black and filled with algae that just draws so many bugs too it especially at night- we can't even walk our dog near that area as there's so many roaches infested in that area. Overall, there's many aspects of fault on the residents who live here who just have a disregard for other people and keeping where they live NICE but I also do place fault on the BLVD management for not enforcing rules and regulations to strive to keep the appearance and reputation of the community in high standard. I do think the maintenance people do their best to take care of any needs very quickly so we have only good things to say about them. Overall, we will finish out our stay here but I don't think it's the best quality of living. Just want to give a heads up to anyone who does care to live in a nice community with a considerate people.

They charge for every single thing you can think of monthly and apartment size for 1 bedroom is incredibly small. Gates rarely work correctly which is a huge selling point for them. LOTS OF SPIDERS. Narrow parking spots and not enough for the amount of people staying there. Fire Alarm system is always going off randomly. If you live on first floor, get ready to hear every move your upstairs neighbor makes. Don’t forget the PILES of trash that accumulate around their dumpsters. Tenants are mainly Air Force so they are constantly moving in and out. Also the purple flowering trees all over the complex attract all flying insects but especially wasps. Good things: apartments interior is nice, newer appliances and large bathroom.

Stayed here roughly a year and a half. Management is absolutely amazing and easy to communicate with. This is important because the property is huge, but the staff are super sweet. I'm just going to list some quick pros/cons!Pros:-Friendly staff and maintenance-Quick response to maintenance requests-Very safe area-Parking isn't bad for the size of the complex (except summer, people throw pool parties)-Pleasant amenities and landscapingCons:-If your neighbors are loud you're really going to hear them. (I know it's an apartment. But my neighbors fought each other so often I learned their names through the wall. But I understand it is an apartment!) For the most part the entire neighborhood is SUPER quiet!-Pricey, especially for the area-Tedious move out- During the summer the pool gets really rowdy and crowded. If this makes you uncomfortable you can report it. I didn't deem it necessary and just used noise canceling headphones.Just wanted to finish off that this was a lovely rental and I'm glad I was able to be comfy in San Angelo. Thank you to the staff. You all are so reliable and we appreciate everything you do.

Insanely, incredibly, outrageously overpriced. The saving grace of this complex is the maintenance crew — they get maintenance requests done the next day!

Pretty good place, pricey, but I always got quick responses with service requests.
