Awful, terrible, do not waste your time coming to this hospital. Incompetent doctors with terrible bedside nurses at night. Go to the original hospital downtown.

It’s a hospital. Not the best I’ve been to but certainly far from the worst. Love the security, love the cleanliness, don’t love the crowded feeling, don’t love the ER entrance. They’re doing construction so I’m sure it’s going to be better soon.

We were there for an MRI and EEG. Everything was well scheduled/quick and the people were professional.

Best DRs and nurses ever!We drove from all the way from Brownwood and were treated promptly and with respect and genuine concern. In less than one hour my wife had blood tests, an X-ray and a ct scan!We thought she may have had a hernia from coughing so much but the Dr and her staff checked for pneumonia and dehydration and that was the issue.I wish I could name the Dr and her staff by name because they deserve special recognition for their genuine concern for the well-being of my wife. You will be well served by the professionals at Shannon South!

It's the only hospital. When discharged after a few days there. The staff was rude left me sitting in a chair for 4hrs with Walker across the room and call button out of reach. Discovered I still had an iv port in my arm after taking me to elevator to leave. I dislike they are a monopoly we in san angelo have no other choice since becoming a monopoly their treatment of hospitalized patients leaves a lot to be desired.

Shannon South is a Wonderful caring place. All the Dr.s I’ve seen are always concerned and wanting to help you feel better. I had to go to the ER one night and my experience was very good. They got me in so fast and helped with my pain. All the staff was very kind and so professional. I appreciated them so much. Thank you Shannon South !

This is concerning the MRI visit. It was horrible. The guy in charge of giving the MRI should be investigated including the woman who worked with him. Same experience verbatim as last time!! I never want to go back. The man is a freak. The only problem is, this is the only machine of its kind in San Angelo & sadly he is the only one educated to run it. I have heardthings about him in the negative. And that he has an array of pictures he keeps for himself. The woman was very quiet, but I believe she is also in on the games also. This was a HORRIBLE experience for a second time.

Nurses at station are rude. They seem to hate their jobs. IVs are being placed incorrectly due to laziness at ER station. Doctors aren’t paying attention to detail. The staff cover each other up. Including administration. They seem to back up unprofessionalism from the medical staff. Overall, this place has poor customer service. They sent us a survey but never followed up after feedback. They just simply don’t car. Good luck with your medical needs here. Horrible place.

I am from NY, visiting my family for Thanksgiving. I walked into the ER and later admitted with an AFib diagnosis. The care has been exemplary from start to finish. The entire staff is very pleasant, compassionate (both rare in NY) and knowledgeable. I am an RN and I couldn't have asked to be in a better facility. The Hospitalist and Cardiologist had excellent bedside manners and took an amazing amount of time to explain my diagnosis, testing results, and aftercare appropriate to my education.5 stars for Shannon South Hospital!!!

I want to thank all of the nurses and doctors that attended to me during this crazy weather. Y'all ROCK!!!! You all have shown your professionalism and determination to be the best at what y'all do. Thank y'all for putting up with me and the wonderful care that you gave to me. You all went above and beyond to help the patients in this hospital while being under pressure and stress yourselves and to show how much you care about us. Thanks to the dietary team and keep up the good work! And BIG SHOUT OUT to the Nurses in OB for finding me a charger for my phone and allowing me to use it when I got moved

We received exceptional care by the wonderful healthcare professionals at San Angelo Community Medical Center, the birthplace of wow. We delivered our daughter safely and comfortably and were supported and cared for by the wonderful nursing team and our OB. (Name withheld due to privacy, but we absolutely love her.) This facility and its employees keep safety and cleanliness a high priority which is important during all times but especially during these last few months. We are incredibly grateful for every heart and hand that made this such a wonderful experience for us and will forever cherish the memories of the birth of our daughter and our stay with Community Medical Center as one filled with love, hope and comfort. We highly reccomend this Hospital and its staff to care for you and yours.Thank you,The Webers.

Wow!! This place is incredible. Every interaction we had from our first appointment to birth was fantastic. Our doctor, Dr Henke, has been in the game so long he delivered the labor and delivery nurse we had. Every team member we met, everyone we spoke to; reception, COVID screening, billing, lab, nurses, OBs, the cafeteria staff, house keeping, labor and delivery, recovery, - EVERYONE made us feel like part of their family. The facility is sterile, the appointments are timely, the staff is great, the food is delicious. Us having our first child here really set the bar HIGH for where ever we are stationed for the next baby. Thank you, SACMC.

One physical therapist was very rude and humiliated me.The case manager acted very paranoid when I was asking for her to get on the phone with the ombudsman for the skilled nursing facility I was trying to get into. She refused to take the phone and talk to her.My doctor is great. My nurses were angels. The food was very good. My other physical therapist was very good.
