I've been considering moving to a smaller locker and Jordan came by my locker when I was there today and gave me some options on different sizes. He also told me about promotions that were coming up. He's been helpful for anything I've needed since I've been there. He's very polite and knowledgeable.

I am so very frustrated and upset on how I was never notified about the change of ownership or the convenient, yet shady way of raising the cost of my unit with no notice. This is a terrible way to do business. I have had my storage unit for a long time and this is wrong in so many ways. I didn't even know the new name of this place until a few days ago and that was by accident. Also, the non-local phone numbers they use make it seem like scammers trying to call me. How about using a local number so I can recognize who is calling? Maybe I would answer. The only thing that would keep me doing business with this place is communication from the new owners and Jordan, who has been there for a long time and is a very friendly and helpful person. I guess we'll all have to see what happens next, since everyone that has been doing business here for a long time have been blindsided with this mess!

I needed a storage space quickly and not too expensive for the size. They were very helpful. I got the price quote online, made the reservation online and paid for my storage online.I went to the office to get my free in package lock and key. The guy showed me exactly where it is and it was a great size space.Some other storages I saw before would be sized weird. Like a 10 X 10 was 10' wide and 10' high. I'm too short to be stacking stuff too high.So far I am very happy with this storage facility and I would highly recommend it to others.

The employee working in the local office at the storage facility on Knickerbocker, was very nice. Jordan is always patient, helpful and pleasant. I have complaints, but NOT with Jordan; he’s great !! The company on the other hand, not so much ! Very frustrating- The storage facility keeps changing names and prices and customers aren’t notified. The only notification I received is that a payment hasn’t been made. The owners can’t seem to notify customers of important information but they damn sure send out notifications when they want their money. I have to drive over to the local office to find out why checks aren’t processed….It’s now owned by another new company ( who knew? ) and the wrong name is on the check. I’m put out and mad. I had to take time out of my day and gas to go over and find an employee ( whose fault it isn’t ) to explain the name and amount has changed. So I write a new check. It’s not fair to an unexpecting employee to have to answer to upset customers with problems not caused by him that could’ve been prevented by the owners. All about the money… an ounce for people would be appreciated. Companies want to own out of state storage then leave customers and employees in a rut. Another time I had to drive to the office because the office phone was broken and he was given no replacement for two weeks. That’s no way to treat employees or how to run a business. I see it’s my job to have to ask for and make sure I have the separate number to the local office (which is an out of state number. Ridiculous ). Other chains with local businesses use local numbers. If I call the number in the “late notice text” I get an answering machine in another state. Seriously ? I find out Jordan tried to call me more than once but I’m not answering, because it’s an out of state number and name I don’t recognize. He’s having trouble reaching others and I’m sure they’re not answering for the same reason - they haven’t been notified of the new out-of-state number and new name. Oh… new price too. Who knew? Jordan is awesome. The company is not. Frustrated.

I appreciate the friendly service we received and the option to choose a storage . We also liked the simplicity of the storage account .

So I was interested in storing here but then changed my mind before I completed the online process. Did not sign the lease (actually hit decline and then closed out of the browser) but was still charged for the unit. Am waiting to see if I can get my money back since I did not sign off, did not authorize a charge, etc but they are not sure I can get my $200 back. Hopeful but unhappy currently.
