I've never had a bad experience in this store. The inventory is cute and the aesthetics are eclectic. It is pricey, but I would expect it from a boutique. Items I have purchased from them have lasted for years. It's a super cool spot. And I will shop there anytime I travel to San Angelo.

First off, zero stars if I could. Horrible place to shop and even worse place to work at. I thought things would've gotten a lot better but obviously not. They still don't look your way if you don't look like you have money to them. They told me on my first day that if they didn't look a certain way not to waste my time and let them keep looking. That's exactly how I was treated. Smh horrible mother and daughter owning this boutique and the one across the street.

I must expose unjust and downright abuse when I see it or else I am just as responsible as those who perpetrate it. It’s been a tradition of mine to always stop by the Sassy Fox whenever I’m in town. After all, they do carry fabulous clothes and what’s more important than looking ones best!Turns out, there are MANY things more important than one’s outward appearance…such as their goodness of heart. From what I observed over several months, a more fitting name for this boutique would be “The Hateful Henhouse”.I always looked for one particular saleswoman, Nancy, for her styling abilities, but even more so for her personality. I found her to be talented, funny, and dedicated to helping the feral cats that others ignore because caring about a homeless and helpless animal is none of their concern. As I continued to get the same service from this woman I was accustomed to, I noticed something I had not observed before. My favourite salesperson appeared a little sad. It wasn’t my business to ask, but I did wonder. I had always noticed somewhat of a “divide” between the sales staff. As I paid closer attention, I could see why my friend was sad. I observed two sales people (whom I later learned are the owner and her daughter) behave like the “mean girls” in high school. I witnessed exchanged glances, eye rolling and derogatory comments aimed at the only salesperson who was actually working and somehow managed to remain professional when they could clearly be overheard making disparaging comments about her. I heard their comments and she was close to me, so I know she heard them. Somehow, I think that was the point. I overheard words such as, “stupid, incompetent, idiot and b****** Needless to say I was (and remain) appalled, not to mention disgusted. The sales clerk maintained her composure so well that at first I thought she didn’t hear their hateful comments and sneering. Just as I about to walk away, I saw that her eyes were brimming with tears. I was so disgusted that I left the clothes I had intended to purchase and vowed never to return. I couldn’t stop thinking about how the owners bullied and tried to humiliate this woman. I have never returned to the Hateful Henhouse so don’t know whatever happened to the sweetest salesperson I’ve ever met. One thing I do know is that I regret not standing up to those horrible people who bullied her and tried to take her light. Since I failed to do what I should have then, I am doing it now. I feel compelled to share the ugly truth about what lies beneath the Sassy Fox…a bunch of hateful, vindictive, insecure and jealous little brats who instinctively know their worth comes from tearing down the very people they wish they could be. Hateful hens, indeed. If you don’t like bullies, take a stand and shop elsewhere….there are other boutiques in town. Hopefully, you will be lucky enough to meet the saleswoman they were stupid enough to drive away!!!!

My daughter found a pair of pants from this store that she absolutely loved with all her heart. The price tag was clearly marked as $59.99 however when I got to the register to pay they told me that they would have to check to find out “the real price.” After a considerable wait she returned to say that the real price was $179.99. The cashier informed the other lady that they had been marked the 59.99 price the whole time they had been in the store. She stated that she wasn’t sure how it happened but they would not honor the price. This broke my daughters heart. We left the store without the pants and my daughter devastated. I called and asked to speak with the owner. I was assured that the store loved its customers and it must have been a mistake. The owners daughter came on the phone and stated that they had now changed the price of the pants to the higher price. I asked her if she went into a store and saw a price tag wouldn’t she assume that this was the price. She assured me that these things happen all the time in lots of stores and that they would not be honoring the listed price. Such a shame, it’s a cute store I would love to recommend.

I wish I could give this negative stars, our experience here was so unpleasant it's SO disappointing. The employees are DISGUSTING they talked trash about customers and had terrible attitudes, extremely unprofessional. We came in from out of town (Dallas Fort Worth area) to visit parents for thanksgiving and we decided to stop by this boutique store. We made a purchase, but before we completed it we asked a worker if we could return it the next day if it didn't fit and she said YES. We always make double sure when shopping out of town for obvious reasons. The lady got my information and we returned the next day where a woman named "Andrea" treated us SO POORLY it was disgusting! Disgusting attitude, customer service, and a disgusting environment . She said we couldn't do a return which is NOT the main issue whatsoever, it's how the situation was handled. She was extremely impolite about it, I even told her which worker told us the apparent false information whom was also there and she gave ZERO solutions for anything. Instead, like a child, she went and talked to an employee and was talking trash about the situation (wasn't very smart doing it in front of a customer in such a small store). A professional business would have honored this PERIOD and handled it a proper mature way. We had to pay $49 for a shirt that cannot be worn or store credit from a store 4+ hours away from where we live. Such a sad incident, all due to lack of coaching employees properly.
