I was racially profiled at this location. I live in Dallas FT. Worth area and I did not have time to get to RDA ( Salon Centric now) before I made the drive to San Angelo. I will pick up items for my family as well as myself for the salon I work in back home. I shopped and ready to check out only to be told that I could not be found in their system, This is strange because I have shopped here before. I give phone number and offered to give my license number for look up and was told that they can not find me that way. Heather proceeded to tell me that I have to fill out a form. No problem, sure I have a picture of my license an my DL license. This is where it went wrong. Heather, picks up her personal cell and tells me that I have to text her a copy of my operator license and ID. ABSOLULTLY NOT and since when is that a requirement. I was told since two months ago when RDA became Salon Centric. I refused to give my ID in that way , because I did not know her nor did I like the way she was handling the satiation as if I was not being truthful that I indeed have a TDLR issues cosmo operator License. Plus why do you need a copy on your personal cell phone?? The company needs to figure out a better why to do that. Why wasn't everything transferred over in the system when purchased? The whole time there is a very nice couple in the store with us that was just as confused as I was. I said she can keep the items and I will leave. The very nice couple who I did not know offered to purchase my items for me. After some back and forth I agreed and cash app them the money in return. Heather changed her tone when the couple offered to pay for my items. I was born and raised in this town and I'm not surprised, but still disappoint on how business is being handled when the person buying does not look like you. Later on that day, I went to Armstrong and purchased items with no problem at all.
