204 E Ave L, San AngeloJust moved here and my dog was I desperate need of a bath. I went in on my way home from work and they were able to fit me in the same day so I went home and brought my dog. She has a lot of anxiety so I thought she would be a handful but when I came to pick her up she was wagging her tail while they sat on the floor with her and continuing to brush her out. Will definitely come back here the next time my fur baby needs a bath.

A few questionable things— like the size of the kennels being a little small, not being able to go inside to look around and see the conditions, and the temperature being a bit high and the atmosphere humid. My dog came back sticky and panting with his head low from the heat.
But he wasn’t in any immediate or even imminent danger or distress. Overall acceptable care with room for improvement.

And it helps that the people there have an innate knack with animals. Not to mention that Karen is awesome! On a scale of 1 to 5, she gets a 10.
My German Shepherd never goes to anyone, very wary, but she went straight to the tech and the Dr. Frembgen.
Follow up care and concern was great too.

Arden South Animal Clinic
7027 S US-277, San AngeloWe had an absolutely incredible experience with Arden South Clinic when our mini Aussie had an accident. Emergency clinics are few and far between. They had an emergency number to call, they actually answered the phone. From the initial phone call, through the exam and X-rays, the care and compassion shown were second to none. The bill was fair for the services and we will be returning there for her future care! We saw Dr. Will and we can't Thank you enough for what you do!

729 W 29th St, San AngeloDr. Womack is very knowledgeable and has a great way with animals and owners. My dog was bitten by a snake and he couldn't have been more caring and compassionate. Ten years later she still loved him dearly. Two weeks ago I had to have her put to sleep and he was still very kind and caring -- with my dog and me both. His staff also were very kind and understanding.
I would very highly recommend Dr. Womack and Los Caballos to anyone looking for quality veterinarian care.

2012 W Farm to Market Rd 2105, San AngeloOur 18-year-old dalmatian needed her nails trimmed and pain meds refilled. Western Veterinary Hospital fit us on the same day. The staff is friendly, and they obviously love animals. They did a great job on her nails. I know this sounds simple, but her nails grow so fast that a slight trim leaves her with painfully long nails within two weeks. Dr. Hodges examed her without hurting her: it breaks my heart when she's hurt unnecessarily during a physical exam. We waited for 30 minutes after our appointment time; I'm guessing because the Doctor was on a large animal call. We enjoyed a nice walk around the property, making the wait time beneficial. Duma is up and feeling great today. Thank you, Western Veterinary Hospital. Now, if you could do nail trims on our 30-year-old cockatoo?

On our initial visit, she made all the pups I'd inquired about available to meet us, as well as a few others that might fit our needs and home. All the dogs were very well socialized, and obviously well cared for. Jana gave us the space to take Norah (Sterling) home for the weekend to decide if she would be a good fit for our family, and checked on us regularly. (She fit perfect, Norah and my kiddo LIGHT UP when they see each other!)The kennel is clean and very well managed. If it were me, I'd be playing with puppies all day long, but it is obvious the care and time Jana puts in.I highly HIGHLY recommend the good work they're doing over there.. and PS, they offer kenneling and grooming services as well! I know where our sweet Norah Bones will be when I have to head out of town!

214 S Chadbourne St, San AngeloBest Bar in San Angelo by a mile. Great food. All beers are brewed in house and are local to TX. All of which are phenomenal. The Mesa Grande cerveza with a lime is my personal favorite.
The prices are reasonable on their own. They have a unique mug club membership that if you buy into, that gets you a discount on your beers. They hire a lot of veterans and everyone seems to constantly be having a good time and brings a good vibe with them. It's a step above a dive bar, but a step below an expensive, hoity-toity, pretentious craft brewery. The best of both worlds.

Our favorites were Cloud Nine (lavender, vanilla, extra lavender) Chai Latte and the hot chocolate with peppermint. Two large drinks and a medium hot chocolate, only $16. Can't miss it, covered in blue LED lights. lol Pretty cute little place, which I'd thought to take pics of the drinks or the building.
