Great service and got my water heater put in quickly. Much better then the other plumber that we waited on for 3 weeks! Would highly recommend Lone Star Contracting if you are using American Home Shield in San Angelo. Local company, they get the job done and not try to pull something extra on top of what you need, and very friendly!

I have delayed writing about and sharing our experiences with Lone Star Contracting. I was holding out hope that this company would come correct the issues they created. I was hesitant to write this in fear that once i did the issues would never be resolved. However, after much thought and contemplation I have decided to write about our experience with Lone Star Contracting LLC. We contacted Mr. Slater Chapa, owner of Lone Star Contracting, for a quote on a pool in March of 2021. He was very fast to respond to our initial request for a quote. He came out gave his spill and we were sold. The process was slow. They would work a week and then ghost us for a month. No contact. No communication and not because of a lack of effort on our part. Just Nothing. Finally we are in February/March 2022 with the end in sight. They had received the last of the money released by the loan company. Our custom tanning deck was just needing the tile. Thinking that they had everything under control Mr. Chapa had (who i would consider) his pool foreman complete our tile job in the custom tanning deck. This man was a very hard worker during the entire time he was here. BUT this man was not a professional tile installer....at all. Right away we could tell that something was wrong. Walking on the tile there was a spongey feel to it. Not solid. My husband expressed this concern to Mr. Chapa and he had this same man come out and put a coat of some other product over the top of the tile he had already laid down. The first warm day in May we got in the pool. Immediately two tiles come up. Now here we are in August and there are large gaps of missing tile. I attempted to contact Mr. Chapa in May regarding this issue. Initially he responded. He stated that they would have to demo the whole job, he would order more tile, contact his tile guy, and make this right. This was the first and only time I've heard from him, barring one text to my husband also send to him in May to state his displeasure with this situation. I have sent him at least four additional emails since with photos attached and have gotten nothing. Not one single word or acknowledgement of anything. This is going on and all the while his company was installing a pool literally down the street. Yet he never once came by to see the finished product down here. He actually stood us up the day he was scheduled to do pool school with us. Is he not curious what anything down here looks like? Please if this can serve as a warning to anyone looking to build a pool, DO NOT USE LONE STAR CONTRACTING.

He came out gave his spill and we were sold. We were told we would be swimming by the summer of 2021 since the exact model of pool we choose was actually in Texas. He stated that they could possibly finish the job in two or three weeks once they got started. This turned out to be lie number one. After we secured our financing and signed the proposal with him we were looking forward to hearing from him in a few weeks. April came then May. No word from him. We made several attempts to contact him and got absolutely no response. When he finally did touch base, sometime near the end of June, we were told we should be in our pool by the END of the summer. Apparently he failed to mention that there was a list of people ahead of us his list. Which we understood but this was not communicated during the signing of the proposal/contract. Though our pool was in Texas that did not really mean much of anything. He then revealed to us that what he was actually going to try and do is work us into his already jam packed schedule. Not wanting to continue to badger him we just assumed he would keep us in the loop the closer it got to us. August came and he reached out to us to discuss details about colors for rico rock. He stated that his guys would be at out home either the following day or the next. Lie number two. We rushed home that evening to get things moved and out of the way to prepare in anticipation of heavy equipment showing up to our home by weeks end. The week ended with no one showing up and no phone call from Mr. Chapa to explain why they were a no show. We reached out again (and i mean phone calls, text, emails) and again we received no response. Weeks go by and we arrive to the end of September (around the 27th). I was gone this day and received a phone call from our babysitter that men in trucks with heavy equipment where there to start our pool. No time to be upset over the surprise and lack of communication. They were actually here to start. I firmly believe that they only got started at this time because based on our agreement with the pool financing company that we choose they (Lone Star) were actually supposed to be done with our job by the end of October in order to receive the remainder of the funds. I believe if they would have been paid in full up front we probably would still not have a pool to this day or we would still be living in the middle of a construction site for more months than we already did. The process was slow. They would work a week and then ghost us for a month. No contact. No communication and not because of a lack of effort on our part. Just Nothing. Outstanding. After another company completely botched the job and wasted our time, Lone Star came out a couple of days later, diagnosed the job, received approval from our home warranty company, and had the work completed. They did outstanding work, and even a year later we've had no issues with their work. I'm so thankful to Lone Star. After they finished, a couple of weeks later was "Snowmageddon" in Texas. With nearly a foot of snow outside, our home never dipped below 50 degrees. Thank you, Lone Star Contractors.

We have used their plumbing services for 20 + years and have been very pleased so when we wanted to add another bathroom to the back of our home I called them for an estimate and to see if it was possible. First appointment with Paul, no show! Second appointment with Paul, no show. I called office first time a day later, Paul called 3 days later and we made the next (second appointment). After waiting 20 minutes I called the office to see where he was and it has been two hours and no word. I don’t do 3 x your out. 2 times is enough for me. Guess they have all the business they need.
