Had to take the hubs in last night for a knee injury. And I’ll tell ya- Dr Speck is a God send!! He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and had a great sense humor. He made the whole visit a great and easy experience. Dr Speck drained the fluid in my hubby’s knee and then administered a steroid shot, giving him instant relief. We’ve been fighting with Shannon for several days, and concho valley er was the solution. Thank you Dr. Speck and team!

We are always beyond pleased with our experience at Concho Valley ER. We have had two unfortunate accidents within the past year that have left us needing to visit an ER with our 2 year old. Both times, we were in and out in less than an hour (X-rays, stitches, and other testing included) with exceptional care given to our toddler. So friendly, so professional, so thorough. Time is invaluable when you have a little one in pain and that’s the main reason Concho Valley ER will always be our first choice.

We took our son this evening with bad abdominal pain. Every person we encountered was polite and professional. Luckily everything checked out and he was feeling much better. I’ve always heard great things about this ER but had not been and am glad we went!

I was traveling across country and experiencing the worst back pain ever. I didn’t think I could sit in the car one more minute much less 3 more days. I found this place on the internet and stopped. They were all so wonderful and professional, had me in and out in 15 minutes with 2 shots and a prescription. I wish we had a place like this where I am from! Thank you all for what you do! You guys are amazing!

By far the best experience I’ve ever had. Treated me immediately (I was in a room 5 minutes after walking in), listened to my issues, and kept me overnight for supervision. The nurses were compassionate and super informative.

The best and most efficient ER I have ever been to. No wait time. Dr. Speck and his staff were amazing and caring. Due to my injury they ran tests, xrays and CT scan. My daughter and I were there only 2 1/2 hours. If I, or my daughter, need emergency care again that's where we are going. Thank you!

If I could give negative stars I would!
I went in on a Friday morning because I needed to be seen about my heart rate and blood pressure. Dr Marvin Carroll saw me. The nurses took my vitals and wrote me off as having anxiety and high blood pressure. Over the weekend I felt even worse. Monday I had to be transported in the Ambulance from Crockett County to Shannon in San Angelo. Within me being there 15 min the nurse came in and said my blood tests showed that I am anemic and my hemoglobin count was down to a 5 when normal is around 12. I had to have 3 blood transfusions.
Concho Valley ER is a joke. I was told by the 3 doctors that I saw at Shannon that it is common sense for me to have had blood work done! Marvin Carroll you should be ashamed of yourself. The only good thing I can say is the receptionist was very kind and caring, other than that don't waste your time or money just go to Shannon.

Emergency Room?
I didn't realize this was the place my wife took my daughter for an emergency room visit. Unfortunately, they sent them to a different ER few months ago and now myself. They do not accept Tricare.
Seemed like a great place though, it would be amazing if they started accepting Tricare.

I CANNOT say enough good things about this facility and its staff. From the second I hobbled in the door tonight, everyone was incredibly kind and personable. They got me into a room quickly, and the overall wait time was very reasonable. Dr. Carroll is an absolute gem. We had a great, friendly chat, and he listened to my concerns/wishes for my care very well. I don’t have health insurance right now due to a recent job change, and they were upfront regarding their billing practices and pricing, also letting me know that I could opt out of care with no penalty if the cost was too high. Healthcare is a tough business these days, and these people have restored my faith in the true “care” part of the equation.

I can not say enough good things about every one in this facility that treated me today! From the front desk to Dr. Speck and everyone in the back _ X Ray and all. Professional, all of these wonderful ppl made me feel comfortable and have awesome attitudes! If you have to have a E.R. visit I would recommend Concho Valley E.R everytime!!Thanks Yall!!!

This was my 4th visit to this urgent care and every visit is so well coordinated and care excellent. This visit was for kidney stone and Dr Speck and the entire care team were on point getting me taken care of. From the time you enter the door, you know you’re going to be taken care of. Before paper work is done, you are seeing physician, getting relief and treatment is actively in motion. They attend to your family to alleviate their concerns as well. It’s total care. I can’t say enough positive and have absolutely nothing negative I could add.
