Great experience with Avis. Rented a vehicle from San Angelo to San Antonio. Tried other rental companies, rented from AVIS, glad I did, no ridiculous fees, airport to airport. Pick up/drop off a breeze. Will definitely use again

Had booked 7 seater minivan and confirmed they replaced with 6 seater, i had asked to change even though there was plenty of 7 seater, the guy at the counter hesitated to give to change and was rude who told me that corporate office is the one who assigns car.This location is worst on my experience. If you don't have the car that customer asked for, At least replace with the similar kind. I had to take another car as i had no other option and had booked several week back.

Worst delay in all my years of renting cars. I was 5th in line The fastest in front of me was 5 minutes, the worst 40. The one poor counter agent never got help from colleagues he reached out to on the phone. Agent responded well to a complex requests from customers.

Don't count on them staying open if your flight is delayed. I even called ahead and told them that I would be delayed. They said they would wait for me. THEY DID NOT. had to catch an Uber... turns out the manager had a stroke....guess while the cats away, the mice will play. Keila, on the other hand, is a waste of a human that should work in the morgue... at least cadavers won't complain about her disrespectful mouth.

During my drop-off of my vehicle at San Angelo Airport location, I was told to drop my key off in the Dropbox, while the gentleman at the desk continued to work with another customer. Unfortunately for me, I received an emailed receipt with an additional day charged to my credit card. I have contacted the San Angelo location and was directed to call Customer Service. Customer Service explained to me that my case had to further researched because of the error of the San Angelo Airport employees and that I would receive a call back. I have not received a call back as of yet and this situation is very disheartening. I feel as if Avis has been dishonest and is committing robbery. I was expecting continued competency and great customer service from Avis, but holding on to a customer's money due to employee error proves otherwise. I do hope my issue will be resolved efficiently and in a timely manner and this does not happen to future customers.

After I reserved, confirmed, and paid for my rental, they gave my car to someone else. The employee was rude and unapologetic, even though I was not disrespectful to her. She told me no vehicles were available and that I could keep checking back... then why offer reservations in the first place? Instead of the economy vehicle I reserved, I was given a dirty, unserviced, large truck and STILL charged full price! I am an active duty service member. I only have limited personal leave and my time has value. I had to push my flight back and lost an entire day of leave. Shame on this branch for treating people this way!

The vehicle was nice. Loved the color. But I was a little nervous because the check engine light was on while we had the vehicle. And I guess they don't clean the outside of their cars. But everything else was great. The staff was very nice. The price was excellent. Will definitely use Avis again!

Do not waste your time they double charge you they are rude and the cars are dirty. They also have to run your credit if you are using a debit care and that ridiculous. I Had called customer service over 5 times and they just hang up on you. Go to someone else .

Avis did fix the over charge after talking to them several times.I picked up the car on May 26 and turned it back in on May 30. The car gas was on empty. Even though Avis said I could turn the car back in on empty I turned it in on Full. They charged me $8.99 for fuel so I called corporate office on 6/1/2023. They said they would give me a 43.78 refund for the full take and 8.99 repayment. Instead, Avis charged my credit card $43.78.

Extremely upsetting experience renting a car from Avis. I was given the run around by all representatives and managers, and everyone I spoke with gave me different answers and amounts regarding fees and extensions. They charged me for days I did not have the car, and charged my card before getting my agreement to the extension. Many reps were extremely unprofessional and gave me false information, and I even spoke with several managers who were not able to tell me how much I was being charged. This company is basically running a scam. It's no surprise that there was a class action lawsuit against them. I will be contacting my lawyer about all this for sure.

After a long day of travel and a weather detour, the timeliness and ease of my pickup time delayed, the team made it super easy and the car was awesome!
