I highly reccomend this Affordable Storage location! I was moving my dorm into a storage unit for the summer with my dad and Carice, the manager, was incredibly helpful & kind throughout the process. She helped us pick the size of the unit, showed us where it was and walked us through all of the autopay and contracts. She also emailed afterwards to check with us that everything with the unit was perfect and let us know she was always available for questions or concerns. I just finished getting everything moved out of it today and she helped get everything situated with the move-out. If I ever need a storage unit in San Angelo I won't hesitate to come back to this location!

Carice helped me with getting a unit. She is super nice and very informative. This has definitely been the quickest and easiest I've ever gotten a unit and at that it's not breaking the bank!

When I got with affordable storage a year ago I was told that my total costs for my storage unit would be 120$ a month, pretty reasonable considering I got climate controlled. Although, I was talked into getting the bigger unit than I needed. Let me make it clear I worked for a moving company here in town for many years and still have a strong communicable relationship with them. They’re my neighbors, I think I would know what I’m getting myself into yet the staff made me second guess my decisions and just as I thought after moving in my storage unit I had PLENTY of room but I just decided in case I need the extra room I will keep it. Not my biggest complaint, but I originally was paying 120$ a month for my storage unit, they have raised the price yet again this month and I am just tired of it. I am now currently paying 192$ a month. Idk if these people are scammers or what but when I first signed up I was not aware or even told that there would be price increases up the wazoo. Otherwise, I would have went elsewhere. That’s probably why they don’t tell you but they’ll definitely remind you that it’s in the contract. This place has made it very hard for me to budget and I would not recommend anyone use these storage units. I have let two moving companies in town know about my experiences so they could recommend other storage’s to their customers. So if you want a storage unit that has random price increases, or takes a run for your money, this is your spot. Do not use unless you want those price changes. I will definitely be moving my business elsewhere this month. I absolutely cannot handle another price change, I can’t imagine how much they’re charging for the much larger units.

I would NOT recommend this storage facility as I have experienced some of the same issues as others who have left negative reviews for this business, such as rude/unprofessional management and PRICE INCREASES WITH NO WARNING! However the worst experience was just recently. My husband and I were traveling and did not have service for much of our trip. On our way home I received a call from two of my family members stating they received harassing phone calls from someone from this business who was very rude stating we were 9 DAYS late with our payment due to an expired credit card they kept on file. 9 DAYS. And we have had this particular storage unit for years.
The good reviews you see are from people who just started doing business with them. They hustle to get the good reviews in the beginning when things are going well, however as you can see many of their customers have gone back to change the good review and shared what they later experienced. LOOK ELSEWHERE. There are other facilities in San Angelo with clean units, professional staff and fair prices. I would give them a zero if I could.

Bait and switch on unit rent. Started with the 3 months promo price but absolutely refused to remotely answer what would rent be after the 3 months(not even a rough ballpark, got the market rate excuse). When that was up rent was raised 2.4x the promo price. Of course moving would be at great cost and having the unit at the time was not optional for me and mine. It's an extremely manipulative anti-consumer sales tactic with a total lack of transparency. Botting engagement on social media paired with these sales tactics reeks of pitiful desperation.
