I'm an older individual, and I'm going to FBT for lower back pain. Starting with the initial visit, it was immediately obvious that the evaluation, in studio treatment and homework would be much more detailed and individually focused than what I had received from previous visits to chiropractors or physical therapists. We're working to shift the stabilization of my spinal column from lower back muscles to my core.

Great experience - physical and mental! FBT has helped me make many positive changes in my life making me healthier, stronger, and aware of my nutrition and educating me on how to properly perform exercises. The FBT team pays close attention from all aspects, and that’s what makes FBT so special and different! Definitely recommend!

Amazing results for my son in a short time and even done remotely through Zoom during shelter-in-place. We plan to continue sessions throughout the summer and his upcoming senior season. Josh, Angelie, and Chloe are extremely knowledgeable and motivating at what they do!

This is not your ordinary gym experience. The staff is very thorough and knowledgable in helping people regain mobility and self confidence to exercise safely without causing injuries. It is a private confidential environment. There is no shame. They also provide testing and monitoring of metabolic rate to aide in promoting health and weight loss. I am so happy I chose to use their services. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to improve mobility and health.

Th staff is very friendly and able to see where your abilities are for them to begin a program. I have Angelie and she is well organized and explains each activity we do and pleasant to be with. I am got I started going and would recommend Fitness Beyond Training to others.

Super awesome experience. I did a VO2 test which allowed me to see my most efficient fat burning zone and the trainers tailor you needs based on what works the best for you. 100% recommend!!!!

I have been training with this team for a little over a year now. When I started, I was 9 months from knee replacement surgery, and still could not work a 13- hour week without pain. I started with 3 times a week, then 2, now 1; incorporating home exercise plan the entire time. Not only can I work a good week of work without pain, I actually went on a 3 hour hike in the rain forests on Maui just about 2 weeks ago, and could do all the scrambling over slippery rocks, walking up and down muddy, slippery trails, and jump into the pools below the waterfalls! My life has changed dramatically because of the excellence of this team, and the way they encourage me to take on bigger and better tasks!

My daughter Brooke injured her right shoulder back in mid February of this year at a softball tournament, her pain level was a 3, she kept batting but didn’t throw, in March during practice she hit a ball to the fence and her pain level went to a six and stayed there. We took her to a sports doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, had an MRI, and had four visits of PT from February to June. Her pain level never went down, it actually went up during those 4 PT visits (around a 9 or 10, with 10 being the worst). Doctors were telling her they couldn’t help her, that she should give up playing softball, and would just have to deal with pain in her shoulder because of her hyper mobility. We decided to take her to our chiropractor, Dr. Jessica Bryant, who referred us to Fitness Beyond Training in Salado. She was evaluated by Mira and has been doing Physical Therapy with them since July 15 to help her shoulder injury and hyper mobility. Within three weeks of working with Angelie & Tracy her pain level dropped to a three and now happily can say her pain level is at zero. Can’t say enough about this place, the one on one treatment my daughter got from Angelie was awesome!! I highly recommend this place to anyone struggling with injuries or pain. The wonderful staff here will help you reach your goals!

These are some of the exercises and stretches I’m doing to improve my muscular imbalances and stabilization issues. These workouts aren’t meant to add muscle mass or lean me down, they’re to train my brain and muscles to communicate properly so my dominant muscles don’t take over all the time (neuromuscular re-education) like they used to. Before I came to FBT, I thought I knew how to keep myself healthy and about working out. Turns out that I had developed unhealthy fitness and nutritional mindsets. After being a client of theirs for almost two years, I have learned not only how to push myself fitness wise and see food as fuel, but also how to be confident in my body, no matter how it looks. Everyone at the studio is amazing in their own special way. Jacy is literally the sweetest human ever, and speaks nothing but nutritional advice, body positivity, and advocacy for turkey bites. Mira is such a fantastic leader, and knows how to push you out of your comfort zone, but not enough to where you are in pain. She is a true expert in this business. Tracy is sooooo good at a killer butt workout, and is just so positive to be around. Chris Vega is kind of iconic. I enjoy being challenged in his workouts, and reaching levels of fitness stamina I never knew I could achieve. He is so encouraging, and he did nothing but challenge my competitive nature. Also, he is quite the coffee connoisseur, so we love him. Angelie Juaneza is especially amazing at what she does, and has literally changed my life. She truly cares about every client that walks into the studio, and will make sure that we are not only physically healthy, but also mentally stable as well. Her workouts are unique to each person she works with, and makes it her job to know your body and your potential just as much as you do. She is kind, loyal, and the best fitness professional out there. I came into that studio with an unhealthy relationship with food, fitness, and myself, and FBT (and Angelie Juaneza) changed my habits and lifestyle for the better. I can honestly say that life would not be the same without them. RUN DO NOT WALK to Fitness Beyond Training for all of your physical, mental, and nutritional health needs...but you still will have to run 800 repeats (possibly) so not too fast so that you burn out ;). Okay okay, I’ll finish this seriously. FBT is worth every cent and every drive. I love it and Angelie more that humanly possible.

My name is Hunter. I suffered an extreme injury to my spine in the middle of my high school baseball season. After the injury I assumed my physical goals were out of reach. I had surgery on my back and was quickly allowed to return to athletic activities. As I began working out again, my family searched for a physical therapist. We could not find one and heard great things about FBT and decided to give it a try. I was introduced to Chris Vega, one of the Exercise Physiologists that works for FBT. I have seen him many times in the last couple months and can say with certainty he is the most positive and most encouraging person I have been blessed to work with. In the last couple of months I have surpassed my athletic ability from before my injury. He has influenced my life as much as he has my health. I would recommend Chris and the rest of the team at FBT to anyone!

What can I say? These ladies have changed my life. A year and a half ago I knew nothing about nutrition or exercise. With training and nutrition counseling I am now 40 pounds down but more importantly I feel great. I highly recommend this group (and I know them all) for whatever you need. They will teach you with knowledge and patience and encouragement and your life will never be the same as long as you practice what they preach. 😊â¤
