Salado is a very nice town. I enjoy all the stores I've visited and restaurants in the town and frequent them on a regular basis. This Saturday was our first time actually checking out Classic on Main. Very neat store and neat items I was about to purchase 3 items all together little under $200. Unfortunately not impressed by the store employee/owner not really sure what he was. We gladly left and spent zero. About an hour later an acquaintance of ours walks in and complemented how nice his store was.. he said "well buy something" hahaha! What a joke! Yup asking for business but running people off at the same time. I don't care if your a millionaire or live paycheck to paycheck but you Sir need some home training. For the elderly lady that walked in and asked if you could tell her where a restroom was located in the immediate area and you ignored her. What comes around goes around. Don't let it knock you down when it does.. All the best! Sincerely, David B.

Went to Salado with my family to check out the shops and take some nice fall family photos. The town is so cute we would pop in to the stores for some shopping and if we found a cute place, to stop snap a couple of photos. We stopped to take a photo in front of this shop. The shop was also closed when we had stopped and this was at 1pm. A man who I'm guessing was the owner but could have just been someone who worked there, opened the door ( this was not the main door to get into the shop.)And very rudely said "I'm trying to run a business here" we apologized and said we just wanted to take a picture because it was closed and it was a cute stoop. He again said " well now I'm not closed, I'm trying to run a business" for it being a cute family neighborhood shop he was extremely rude and hostile. A lot of the shops sell the same style things and I would recommend taking your business anywhere along that stretch but there. We wanted to even shop in there before hand but it was closed in the middle of the day on a weekend. It after that I wouldn't step foot in there.
