My Boss is Legally Blind: I drive her to her bank only it was President's Day. Bank itself was closed I had to use the ATM for her checks deposit. My only concern with the bldg ATM is the lane is too narrow to get her SUV around that curve.

These guys are always great to me. Prompt, polite, and even when I'm running inside minutes before they close. I'm not suggesting anyone else to do so, I'm just pointing out how awesome they are. ?

I took my father to Saginaw branch to close accts due to excessive service charges. We went to the teller line to do this. We were told we had to go to personal banker. I told them I had the latest statement, and the last written check was issued over a month ago. They sd again to go to personal banker. My father is 92 years old, and we had groceries in the car. I have closed accounts w/ tellers in the past. I have spent over 20 years in banking, and I found it ridiculous that a teller couldn't do this simple transaction. The were only a few customers that came through lobby while we waited almost an hour for the personal banker. As his customers were leaving, another customer came in and went directly to the personal banker and he greeted her and started helping her. He knew we were there because he told us earlier he would be with us "in a minute". I think if one employee is so over loaded maybe some cross training is in order. I ended up screaming at the personal banker. This is not something that is normal for me. I have banked w/ Simmons in the past and found the bank lacking. I walked a check in to cash that was written to me drawn on this branch. They were going to service charge me.
