They are so friendly and receptive, I was almost overwhelmed with excitement, and I hate going to the vet! The facility itself is exceptional. It's very clean, and the appointment rooms are sufficiently large enough for larger breeded dogs. Dr. Ford has seen my mother-in-law dog for her declined health since November and, even after asking several times to run a cancer test, kept refusing to do so. You could clearly see her dogs health was quickly declining. Even ran some of the test more than once even though the test they ran showed, those test was fine. Now, here it is early March, and after one visit with a different vet, we learn she has TTC and bladder cancer that has spread to the liver and spline. Now, her dog probably has a month left to live cause treatment for her wasn't started in time. They refused to release her records to the new vet until after calling and arguing with them 4 different times. This place is a joke, and Dr. Ford doesn't listen to his patients or have any compassion for what he does.

we have used Sachse Vet for years. Dr. Pirkey is the best. He and his staff always have the best interest of our pet. Excellent vet services.

Outstanding veterinary and support staff. Exceptional skills and knowledge in the area of canine reproduction. I participate in a genetics project and have used reproductive services all over the country and in other parts of the world. Dr. Pirkey and his team are the best.

Worst customer service ever! Attendant: "we don't take emergencies" Me: when I was in there a few months ago people were bringing in their dogs for emergency situations Attendant(direct quote): "yeah no" So I guess I was hallucinating with the rest of the people in there. BTW: this "hospital" doesn't take emergencies, so I don't be confused, as they have hospital in their name. Very few vet hospitals have 3 stars or less....pretty easy to see why! Need to email the Dr, because their customer experience is the worst I've ever experienced.

If you can't come into the office and shed some cash, they won't give you the time of day. No complaints about the doctor but his front office manager and staff are absolutely cold and uncaring. They wouldn't approve much needed future prescriptions for my old sick cat because she's not rabies vaccinated even so she'd strictly indoors and no longer in TX. None of that was mentioned when I brought her in a couple of months ago. I changed states so now I have to take her to a different vet here and do it all over again for no reason. What a rip off! Southern hospitality has definitely left the no longer great state of Texas.

04/13/21 I've been attempting to get my dog in for a simple grooming since December, and have been rescheduled twice. After being notified the morning of I will not be able to get my dog groomed after waiting so long, I called to see if I could get the situation figured out. To see if I could take her to a different location the same day they notified me for the second time they had to reschedule. The young Lady who answered the phone replied "well I don't know what to tell you, go somewhere else, our groomer has an auto immune disease so she calls in sick." With no attempt to talk about rescheduling options, no simple apology for the second delay in a row, just a snide remark. I understand the situation, don't talk to me like I wouldn't understand...my mother has Lupus I AM aware of the situation. But to just disregard the situation with no attempt of guest service is unacceptable. I am irate that I got the phone call equivalent of having a door shut on my face with no attempt AT ALL to even to Resolve the issue.

I made a 10:00am appointment and still waiting it's been 35 minutes, but yet I see people going in after I got here. This is not right! If you make an appointment it's only fair that you get in at a reasonable time.

My dog was very sick took her in to be put to sleep. She was in so much pain and the aid cut her nails really. They didnt dispose of her and they charged me for that and her nails come on. I was cryin so hard i just saw the charges

Unfortunately I had to put down my 17-year-old dog recently. Hard enough as it is, sexy vet hospital made this such a peaceful event. No rushing, the facilities were comfortable, and they worked together with the pet crematory, and the process was so simple.

I’m new here and needed a new Vet. I asked around and was told Sachse Vet was great. I love Dr Steve Pirkey. He listens to you and never makes you feel rushed. He treats your pets like his own. He’s very responsive to your needs. I highly recommend them.

My dogs stored semen was ruined. No explanation as to why. We are talking about a 100% viable breeding everytime it was used. Suspicious? Most definitely... Recourse? Will see. I now wonder why the Repro tech Julie is no longer with the establishment.

We always have good experiences at SVH. They've been taking care of our animals since we moved here nearly 10 years ago. They're consistently kind and compassionate and Ms Glory is an awesome groomer! George and Gracie love them
