Refused to even consider doing work on my car. Apparently, afraid of insurance claims or far too tricky pearl paints or just want too much $$ before they consider it. Apparently, NOW they wanna deny I was even there by saying "fake review". Doesn't sound like a reputable place to me if they developed amnesia all of a sudden....

Took my car in for insurance repairs after a rear collision. After waiting for week's the job was done halfass to where there was visible gaps between pannels that should have been flush and exhaust not lined up. As if this wasn't enough, they thought it was a smart idea to cut and splice wires without asking. Terrible shop, terrible service and terrible critical thinking skills. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO MY ENEMY! DONT GO!

My 2008 GMC pickup truck was in an accident. The staff at DC&C was outstanding, they went above and beyond with great customer service.
The repair to my truck is excellent and I am very satisfied with the repair.

Our 2011 Jeep Wrangler was struck by another vehicle during a 4-vehicle accident last month. After filing a claim, I did my homework and landed on Detroit Custom & Collision after reviewing numerous shops. Great ratings and an A+ with BBB. The very few reviews that were lower were insignificant.
Staff is professional and their work is fantastic. Jeep came back looking brand-new! Danielle was extremely helpful with getting our job on the books, and Chris, the owner, assessed the damage and provided excellent feedback on the details of the repair work that would be needed.
Highly recommend DC&C for the quality of their work, the professional service, and the reasonable cost. Job was completed before the promised date by a week.

Probably wouldn't have found these guys if we still had SK, but sure glad I found them. I was pleasantly surprised at the turnaround time and they do great work.

I took my car to this company to have some insurance work known on it. They only completed about half of the work, and what they did complete was substandard. They painted over my safety sensors and did not repair the drivers side of the car including the $1600 headlight that was supposed to been replaced. They say they replaced my passenger side mirror but there is a big scratch on it that was there before I took the car to them. They opened up the passenger side, rear door door to fix the outside panel, but did not repair where they cut open the door on the inside. And they skipped out on so many other things that the insurance paid for but they did not repair. I have attached photos underneath to show my car after it was repaired and returned to us.

Detroit Custom is excellent and has a deserved reputation around here. I dealt with great people and they did great work. The body work on my truck is flawless, and it was all done faster than expected. They treated me very well and handled everything with the insurance.

Chris is the owner and he and his guys do an impeccable job. Custom service is amazing, Ashley and the ladies in the office do the work for you as far as insurance goes….all the way to assisting with a rental if need be. We have used him for 5 years and will always choose Detroit Kustomz.

Many thanks to Chris and his team! I took an old Ford truck there for restoration paint and body. It's painted black and looks like a mirror! recently my wife got a new Mustang and wanted some retro graphics (1970 Boss 302 stripes) again Chris came though. my wife is very pleased. Detroit Custom & Collision is a very friendly, professional, family owned business! I felt so welcomed & was taken great care of. I got into a car accident over the weekend & had dropped it off on Monday to be repaired. To my surprise the car was all finished by Friday, within 5 days!! Awesome work done by an awesome staff! Carrie who works front desk, calls to keep you updated during the process & I thought that was very thorough & kind of them to make sure I was informed. I will definitely be telling everyone I know to come here for any bodywork needs :) woo! happy customer!‼️UPDATE‼️got into another accident on 12/11/22 & yet again these lovely people took the best care of me.
