I’ve been going to this pantry every Tuesday since I’ve been unemployed. I’m not ungrateful for the blessing of food but I’ve noticed that most of the time the food is expired, the bananas were black and leaking, avocados were rotten when I cut them open on the same day we got them. At first I had to tell myself be positive this won’t be for forever. Some of the people aren’t very polite, it’s embarrassing enough to have to go each week and then when you get there, most of them just seem irritated. The woman who always asks my name and family size is always so sweet. After passing her it’s over. This past visit I was pulling up later than I normally do and this woman that was helping guide people to the pick up part where they load your car must have thought I couldn’t hear her through the window. There was a guy but I didn’t see his face. He made a comment along the lines that he thought they were finished. She took it to far and said “yeah, right when you think their done here comes another one needing something.” It sounded so cold and rude. He must have thought the same because he didn’t respond back but I clearly heard her exhale in annoyance and she said to me your all loaded rudely so I drove off but wow! I was completely disgusted. People shouldn’t be like that. Especially when you don’t know what their going through and I just happen to be in a very devastating time in my life. I don’t appreciate it. I’m a human, not an animal. You should treat people with kindness.

So thankful for your food pantry. You guys are amazing I will never forget the first time I came to ur food pantry and as I was about to drive away i felt to go ahead and just ask if you guys could help me. Pay day was in 3 days and it’s myself my husband and our 6 children. We were at that moment completely out of something so simple as toilet paper you guys apologized to me saying that you guys don’t provide that then the gentleman says can you give Mr just a moment. The guy that was talking to me walks into the building and comes back out with toilet paper not just any toilet paper the one from there bathroom. I can’t express my gratitude. You guys are a blessing to ur community and I thank you for all you do. May God bless you for the hope and joy you bring our beautiful community.

I come here about once a month and have been getting my neighbors food at the same time the last 2 times. Suddenly, they tell me they can't do that after today. Okay at least they gave me a warning. When I drove around to where they load food, the guy in a red shirt who was in "charge" of literally YELLING how many families were in each vehicle YELLS, THIS CAR IS 1! I said no, it's 2 families, I'm picking up a neighbors also, she isn't able to come up here, he said that wasn't "his problem" & told me to leave. How RUDE! My neighbors car is not driveable and she won't have food for the next week because of this guy. He was unwilling to listen to me, they just rush you in and out so quickly. Mind you they have always allowed me to get her food, she has been there herself before, so she is all signed up to pick up food from them. How am I suppose to fit her and 4 kids in my car? There aren't enough seatbelts!So kids starving is what this place is about. Now I'll have to give her 1/2 my food and it's THANKSGIVING! THANKS 5 LOVES SO MUCH FOR THE STRESS YOU PUT ME UNDER, DURING A TIME THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE RELAXING!!!!

Everyone is amazing, the care package of food and supplies is always more than helpful. I recommend this place to anyone who could use the help. Theyve even been friendly to my screaming toddler and baby in the back seats lol couldn't have found a more blessed community of helpful people. Keep up the amazing work guys, y'all are killing it
