I've used Scooter's services a few times for my state inspections and oil changes, and I can say, without a doubt, this is the best place to go in the area. Every time I go, the job is finished in a timely manner, the staff is friendly and communicative, and the prices are affordable and reasonable. I recommend this place to all of my friends and family and they feel the same.

Last week, I called Scooter's Oil & Lube to qualify the business for my 1995 Mercedes-Benz E300 Diesel sedan. The gentleman on the phone said the shop has the 5-40 synthetic oil for my car but not a replacement oil filter.If I bring my own filter, the shop can change my oil.I found an oil filter for my car at Advantage Auto Parts in Rockwall. There was only one in stock, reasonable due to the year of manufacture.Next, I traveled to Scooter's Oil & Lube for an oil change. After about a 20-minute wait in the lobby, a technician advised me he cannot replace the filter because the shop did not have the filter tool.I left the shop and returned home to assemble a 13mm socket wrench, a 1/4" extension, and the small 1/4" ratchet.This afternoon, July 5, I returned with my new replacement filter and my personal oil filter tools, fully expecting to have the oil and oil filter changed, finally.The man in charge conversed with a technician. The hood was up. The man in charge began saying he was worried about liability. Repeatedly. I assured him I brought my own tool for the shop to use to remove and replace the oil filter. "Oh, I have the socket wrench," he said.A few times, he touched the oil filter canister while mumbling his concern about liability. Whenever he expressed his concerns about liability, I asked, "Are you saying you don't want my business?"About the fourth time, I asked if he did not want my business, and he said yes.Diesel automobiles have filters different from gasoline automobiles. The filters are also different. But, the process to replace an oil filter and to change the oil is otherwise the same as for a gasoline car.I resolved to never return to that business.

Sadly Not so good. 3 yrs in a row went for inspection. Generally go for oil changes. This year all of a sudden they needed to “see” my odometer reading. All other years I told them my mileage. They wouldn’t complete it. Tried to tell me I had to have my cluster replaced in order to pass inspection.. meanwhile no other issues. I went elsewhere.. they read it with their tool and my inspection was done in 10. Also rude and interrupted me.I hope others don’t have this experience.

Went for a state inspection, noticed they were pretty busy but managed to get through all they were doing before me pretty quickly. All the guys I saw were really great to their customers, explained everything to everyone they were talking with. This is my new Oil change shop.

Love their sign out front. Always something funny on it every week. Inspections are fast every time. Their mechanic saved my kitten in a tree. The manager gave me great counseling and saved my marriage. All around good people.

This place is awesome to my husband and I, we had two to three quarts to many of oil in our truck and they had us taken care of within three minutes. The employees are super professional and quick to get it done, We will definitely be coming back for any services needed for our truck. It really surprised me how neat and clean the shop is and the waiting area and in the "work space". A lot of the shops I've been to seem to be messy and unorganized, but these guys seem to take great pride in their work. Thank you all for helping us , it's really appreciated.

Been going to scooters for years for inspections and oil changes! Very helpful and friendly staff, and always get you in and out. A lot of the times I see the owner up there as well helping out and being hands on too! I definitely recommend scooters! 5 star service for sure!

Seen a disgusting sign out front that read "are we still using tranny fluid, or is it called gender neutral shift juice", grow up. I used to get my car taken care of here, never again.

Went earlier today and asked how long an oil change would be and they said about 30 mins later so I dropped my car off. They took 3 hours FOR AN OIL CHANGE. On top of that they left stains on the inside of my car from what looks and smells like oil. Definitely would not recommend to somewhere else!!

My husband and I drive by Scooters when we're out just to see what joke they have on their sign out front. I needed my car inspected and chose to go there just because they always make our day. They got me in and out quickly, and I will be back for sure!

My family and I just moved to the area, and this is the best shop for an oil change or any work like that that I could find. When my car was leaking oil, they took a look at it for free so we could determine what to do from there, whether it was a cracked plug or something more severe. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone needing some work done.

Stopped in to get my oil changed and was greeted immediately by a super friendly mechanic. He looked over my entire car, made recommendations, and had my oil changed and had me out of there in under 15 minutes. I won't get my car serviced anywhere else!! The owner was super nice and informative as well!!

Nice people I take my car here for all maintainence. They do a great job and are fast and efficient! My daughter also loves that they have Coke machine while waiting..
