This is the closest Take 5 to where I live, but I don't mind driving further to get great service. Luckily for me, I don't have to. The Manager Chris at this location has serviced me twice and he is very knowledgeable and goes that extra mile to help. I went in for a radiator flush. He found that there was a pipe that had a hole and was leaking. He said they don't repair them there. However he said to go get the part and bring it back. I did just that and he fixed it within minutes. Today I went to do an oil change. I got there a few minutes before they opened and he was out there before the 7am start time already working on my car. He gave me a lot of good information. He filled my tires with air. (First time that service has been offered to me). Told me to have two tires checked as they were really low. He offered to clean my windshield. I frequent Take 5 a lot because I have to service my work vehicle. Unfortunately there is a Take 5 in the corner by the office and we have to take the cars there. But if it was up to me I would drive the extra 20 minutes for far superior service.

My very first time coming here and literally 10/10 !! Nick and John did an amazing job and explained everything the wholeee way while I sat in the car and did absolutely nothing. Made sure I understood everything and kept me updated on time and offered me water. And also ended my service with a windshield clean. Will absolutely be back, thanks guys!

Worst experience ever. Went to your Take 5 on Lakeview Pkwy in Rowlett. One of your employees (Caleb) inspected my vehicle and totally botched the whole thing. Inserted the VIN incorrectly and among other incorrect entries.But I didn’t know, after waiting multiple days for it to go through online to get registration (and I never did) I figured something was up. I called the store and was told to come back up there to fix it. So inconveniently, I drove all the way back over there after a long day of work and was told by an employee that there was nobody there that can fix the mistake. And only the people who are able to do “State Inspections” can fix it. BRAH! At this point I’m driving around with an expired registration. At this point it’s like nobody at that particular store knows what there doing or knows how to provide customer service. In the end I found a Take 5 shop in Sachse/Wylie area that knew what was up, and rectified the whole situation and fixed the mistake. I will be making a review and I will praise that shop individually because they deserve it. The shop in Rowlett needs to be re named to “Takes 5 Times” because of all the calls and trips I made to get a simple inspection. Totally UnprofessionalAnd worst of all. I didn’t get home till 7:30. My baby was asleep and dinner was cold and wife wasn’t too pleased I didn’t help with father duties.

First visit to this location. I really liked how they engage the customer in the inspection process while in the vehicle. Have never experienced an inspection like this and loved it. The staff were extra nice and made their service that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend checking them out. I was pleasantly pleased!

I love take 5 but this location I will not be back!! It was an outrageous wait of over an hour for an oil change. I ended up leaving early because I had to go to another appointment. Take 5 is supposed to be quick which is why people love the company but today, I was disappointed with this location and went to another take 5 in garland and it was amazing!! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Will no longer be coming to rowlett location

Chris the manager on lakeview pkwy went above and beyond for caring for my car. Very professional and friendly. I can definitely see he has years of experience and knows about cars well. I will defiantly recommend him for your next oil change as I am going to there from now on.

The morning crew is awesome. Very delightful and extremely helpful.After coming for an oil change and inspection this afternoon, I have no plans of ever coming back again. I have never had a problem getting an inspection sticker here but now ran into an issue.Service: Oil change

I use take 5 for close proximity to home & work and have been satisfied with the service. This past visit really showed the customer service commitment that I have come to appreciate. The Manager Chris provided above & beyond service. I will always recommend Take 5 and even if I did live further would make the trip to keep my loyalty to this wonderful company. Please acknowledge Manager Chris for job well done.

Richard and Chris were phenomenal! They took great care of us on our oil change and were so very friendly. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will be taking my future business here for my oil changes. The service was quick! They even offered me a cold water and my 3 year old some gummies:) They were informative and friendly. Pros: you stay in your car. Technicians were friendly and informative . Water was very cold that they offered. I had a service done by Chris on July 30th. My experience was okay. A week after I noticed my A/C wasn’t blowing properly. After getting my car looked at by two professional mechanics. It came to my attention that Chris the manager on duty put a cabin filter on that was too thick for my car. After going up there today to speak to Chris about this he told me that there wasn’t a such thing of cabin filter being too thick. He always yelled at me very disrespectfully as I pull my car up to get serviced. After that he never came out to check my car out or look at the cabin filter. Luckily a nice man Richard was on duty and took care of me. The problem was the cabin air filter was too thick which he agreed to that statement after removing it to see how the air flown increased tremendously. Don’t EVER let Chris work on your car EVER here. Don’t let them talked you into getting cabin or air filters. I recommend you run from for this place. Chris the manager on duty was very disrespectful and doesn’t want to accept the mistake he made. As someone that supposed to be professional Chris is far from it RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

After waiting about 5 minutes to get into a bay I was motioned in and opened my hood.A tech came up and got my info quickly and asked me which oil service I wanted and I asked for the Economy which was clearly displayed on their oil options signage. I was then told that the choice was not an advised choice and as a matter of fact” I don’t even know why we offer that oil option”Now I watched as the tech walked back and forth looking for something. Then climbed a ladder to go into an attic area above the work area then came back down with only a soiled rag in his hands. This went on for about 15 minutes. The car in the bay next to me was done and left.When I saw my 5 minute oil change was now approaching the 30 minute mark and my engine had been off the entire time on 100 plus weather, I had had enough!I told another tech who was passing in front of my car to kindly close my hood so I could leave. He did and I leftNow I had been at this new location a few times and received excellant service. I was glad I finally found a good reliable oil change station for all my vehicles but it looks like the oil change hunt will go on.Thanks for your service in the past but my time is valuable and money is precious.Dan Hulshult
