Vet Josh spent all the time we needed addressing our questions & concerns about our new puppy. We loved how kind he was dealing with our anxious boy! Very happy with our first visit and the info we received about caring for our dog.

Simply no longer the case: Dr Josh is no longer there and service is not as detailed or caring. They go through great strides to deceive patients from the fact that he’d moved on.
-Post from 5 years ago: Dr. Josh and his staff not only care about furbabies, but also about caring for the human beings too! I was very upset and concerned about my 13 yr old shih tzu's first major health issue. They were very understanding, invited me to follow up if the ball is ever dropped, and also gave my babes an amazing grooming experience! I highly recommend them just as highly as they were recommended to me!

Madison was incredibly rude over the phone and hung up on me when I was trying to refill my dog's heart murmur medication. She insisted I was giving her the wrong name, even though the bottle clearly says 'Heart Medication.' She basically called me a liar. After 3 years of bringing my dog here, you've just lost a customer because of Madison’s attitude and my fur baby not getting his medicine. Here’s proof of the bottle.
I’m thankful that when I called back, someone else answered and was able to refill my dog’s medication. However, I've never been treated like this before, especially when all I want is to keep my dog healthy and alive. I’m incredibly disappointed and, unfortunately, I’ll be looking for another vet.
I hope I can get in contact with corporate or someone above Madison. Because this behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I followed Dr Nick Gleason to Premier because he is great with my cat, who has overcome FIP and many other issues. I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a bit of a drive from Oak Cliff. I am extremely pleased to say that the service, warmth, procedures, and even pricing are all excellent. Simple phone system without a billion options. People are efficient and kind. Communication during and after the visit is great. There are some automated messages in email that might be a bit much for some people, but being able to get really great care and reminders works for me.
We did extensive testing, partly because my cat is a senior and his annual was due anyway. I got results within a couple of days. And Premier had a package that honestly made the cost half or far lower than some other places.
Fairly easy access as far as driving and parking, probably great if you aren't driving from Dallas!
Vets are our helpers and advocates for our pets, seeing what we can't see. Drug prices hurt everywhere, but I hope people will get pets in sooner rather than later if something is not right. It makes a difference. Premier is a very good option. I am old and have been through many pets and worked with rescues, so might be more picky than the average person.
Only off note? No tissue or trash basket in the exam room where I was. I didn't need to cry or anything, but that stuff is going to happen.

Josh Cope is a great vet!!! Just a miracle worker for our golden named Maverick who had years of Grand Maul seizures. Our vet in Dallas had him on a treatment program for 5 years that wasn't working well with no other options & we were so stressed. Dr. Josh said he could change the approach & help him more. I was doubtful after years of misery, but he changed his med dosage during seizure time, plus added routine cannabis daily. The result was absolutely amazing!!! He went from constant daily jerking to not at all anymore & from having multiple seizures monthly, to not having any for over 5-6 months & with no more clusters!!! This completely changed our lives so we think he's the best vet EVER!!!!! Before this he was such a comforting help with our American Eskimo who had prostate cancer. He's so kind & caring, intelligent, he doesn't rush out but answers your questions thoroughly, he explains his care for your pets carefully, but most of all he's such a positive DVM with newer, better solutions for your pet's serious needs. If I’d had this vet the minute my golden started his seizures my life would’ve had so much less stress. PERFECT VET if your dog has seizures!!

We recently had to put our dog down. We moved out to Heath a couple of years ago, and making the drive to Rowlett was a little daunting. With that being said, the service we received when putting our dog down at Premier Vet was 10/10.
First off, after calling 4-5 different places, no one would take us in last minute on a Saturday. Premier Vet knew our urgency as I was clearly upset and made it a point to get us in immediately, even though they had ZERO openings. The staff was the most caring staff ever. When we got there, they had a spot set up for my dog with blankets, etc. The doctor did an amazing job dealing with not only my pet but me as well.
I have taken my other two dogs here for a couple of years but recently stopped due to the drive. That will no longer be the case. Premier Vet will be the only place I will ever take my dogs from here on out. They are amazing, and I honestly can't say enough about them. I've been to a handful of vets, and you will not beat the staff, the doctors, or the care at Premier Vet. I HIGHLY recommend them. They also sent a letter in the mail giving their condolences after we put our pup down.
Good job, Premier Vet! Way to set the highest standard you can. Well done!

Premier Vet Care on 66 (Lakeview Parkway) in Rowlett has been wonderful to work with for our Dog, Dakota. The staff is awesome, the Vets are excellent, and the cost is reasonable. Give them a try if you are between Vets.

Probably the best Vet Clinic in the area. Upfront pricing. Friendly staff and fantastic care for your pets. I love this place, a little higher in price but I feel you can see why with the staff, facility and quality of care. I won't take my pets anywhere else.

5 stars! As a new pet owner, I was blown away by the exceptional service at Premier Vet Clinic. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff took the time to ask about my cat's name, which showed they genuinely cared about my pet's well-being unlike the other places in the area.
