“It's important to know the FMSC is more than just trying to feed starving children. If that were the case they'd get machines to do the work. What their model is set up to do is trying to stir up hearts for charitable giving both through their time and their money. I enjoyed this experience and was encouraged to do more work for others. So overall, a great takeaway from this process, all the while providing food for the needy.”

“I just wish that the north texas food Bank would check for the food before they give it out and i wish the place that donate food would not just give old not just outdated food but WAY out dated good. Its a blessing to receive food from places like this but we are human and don't want to get sick from eating waynout dated food. And I wish the people who go here and other places would be more courteous to each other.”

“Numerous hard working friendly volunteers enhance the experience of seeing the big cats at the Rescue. The volunteers are happy to tell their stories and it’s obvious they love what they do. And then, of course, the lions and tigers and bears! Well, not bears at the moment, but every rescued animal at In Sync is well cared for and many times very playful! Thankfully the officer warned us about the tiger spray because it did happen, twice! lol! In Sync does important work. Go see them and support them.”

You guys are amazing I will never forget the first time I came to ur food pantry and as I was about to drive away i felt to go ahead and just ask if you guys could help me. Pay day was in 3 days and it’s myself my husband and our 6 children. We were at that moment completely out of something so simple as toilet paper you guys apologized to me saying that you guys don’t provide that then the gentleman says can you give Mr just a moment. The guy that was talking to me walks into the building and comes back out with toilet paper not just any toilet paper the one from there bathroom. I can’t express my gratitude. You guys are a blessing to ur community and I thank you for all you do. May God bless you for the hope and joy you bring our beautiful community.”

“I began volunteering to help the toy makers mid 2023. We work 3 days a week, 3 hours a day. I have not missed a day yet. All toys are made of wood and donated to charities. The charities give the toys to abused and neglected children ages 2-6. I enjoy the work and the challenges.”
