If only you could actually get ahold of the hospital. No one answers the phone. What if I was having a pet emergency seriously. And when you leave a voicemail no one calls you back.

I love all of the doctors here and they have a great staff that truly cares. One complaint would be the cost of nails trims. $33 for a nail trim is a lot; especially when 1 of my doggos only needs his front nails cut. All 3 of my dogs have dark/black nails so I try but sure wish I could take them in every month for a nail trim. I already started grooming them myself due to that cost.$75 per dog. All of mine are under 10lbs with one being barely 4lbs.

I had a disappointing experience with this establishment, which seemed overly focused on financial gain. I approached them about euthanizing my aggressive German Shepherd due to his threatening behavior towards my children and other household members, including baring his teeth and charging at the gate. Despite clearly stating my situation and concerns, the vet insisted on an examination before considering my request, which puzzled me given the circumstances I described. The conversation that followed felt unhelpful and seemed to sidestep my immediate concerns. I advise caution with this facility, as it appears they may prioritize revenue over addressing client needs directly.

I have been bringing all of my furr babies here for over 11 years now and have been so very thankful to all the great staff, nurses and doctors. Especially Christen Lynch and Dr. Carter. I do not know what we would have done without every single one of them all these years. Alot of my babies (i rescue) went through different illnesses, some terminal. I cant tell you how hard it all has been over the years emotionally and mentally. I love them all so much for being there for us in every way and loving my babies just as they were thier own and taking such great care of them all. They helped me tjrough every single time. I just cant say enough about them to express how wonderful humans and professionals in thier field they all are. Dr. Clary, Wowack, Robinson, Hurley, Downes are all so wonderful too! I recommend them for your babies. They will be in great hands. You will be glad you did!!.

All of the doctors are compassionate and caring. Dr. Hurley has always gone the extra mile for my babies. I just dropped Gypsy my giant schnoodle for a spa day with Anthonny. Every time she sees him she is uncontrollably excited. Makes a fur momma feel good knowing I’ve dropped her off somewhere she loves to go.

I love this vet, but the wait time is so brutal that I docked them a star. I wait AT LEAST 30 minutes whenever I go. Be it a standard check-up or a grooming pickup. I understand it's a hospital and sometimes poop happens that takes priority, but every time?? All the staff is lovely, but I'm greatly motivated to look elsewhere.(I edited this review from 3 stars to 4 because I really appreciated them reaching out to me to provide suggestions to reduce my wait time)

Being that i had previously worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years my expectations are through the roof when it comes to my animals care. Time and time again this facility has left me a happy Fur Mama. Any issue my pet has had they have handled with ease and always explain thing thoroughly before performing any work so that i'm never "surprised" when the bill comes. All staff seems to truly be pet lovers and my nervous Boy surly appreciates that to ease his nerves when hes scared. I boarded him over the holiday and got pictures and detailed updates specific to how he was eating drinking and socializing. Made myself and my 7 year old so happy to get the updates and know he was in good hands.

We moved to Rowlett a year ago and have used them for vet services two times for our beagle. Each time the treatment is great, the treatment plan clear and follow up treatment (if needed) has been laid out well. We would recommend this clinic to anyone needing care for their animal.

I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation enough for this vet and their amazing staff. Unfortunately we had to put down our 8 year old husky Luna which was one of the hardest and saddest things me and my family has ever had to do but I cannot thank the staff enough and express our utmost gratitude for the entire staff that took care of us through that difficult process. They were extremely professional, understanding, empathetic, helpful and supportive through the whole process it really helped us get through the situation as hard as it was. From the bottom of my heart thank y’all for all you guys did to take care of our Luna girl it meant the world to me and my family and for that you guys are one of the best and only vets I will ever take a future pet to, Godbless you and your wonderful staff!

I adopted my first cat almost 4 months ago and knew I would have to get her spayed soon so I booked with AHR. I'm glad I did. They were very understanding of my anxiety and were very communicative through the whole process. I really believe that the Vets take the extra step to make pet parents feel comfortable and to make sure their pet patients are okay. I'm so pleased about my experience here. ps: when I went to pick up my girl from her surgery they offered me beer or wine while I was waiting - that is rad!

My dog swallowed an entire SOS pad on Thanksgiving day and acted as nothing happened but the next morning was awful and he had vomited up most of the SOS pad. Unfortunately, there was a small amount still stuck and this was the only vet opened on the day after Thanksgiving and I rushed him there. They did all the steps but he ended up having to have surgery. The cost is something you have to expect for same day/emergency cases. They saved my dogs life! If I would’ve waited another day for our regular vet, he probably wouldn’t be here. They removed the other portion and he is on the road to recovery. They’ve been extremely kind to me and have been checking up on Rusty after leaving. I recommend them because the care is top notch!
