Fantastic place to visit when you are in Round Top. The owners are so passionate about art and are wonderful people. Be sure to look at the copper lamps. Take one home, we have 3 and love them.

This gallery has an excellent variety of artists in many different medias. Many of the artist are from this area of Texas. You will be tempted by the quality of these pieces. You can spend a lot or a little - it is full of variety. We bought some delightful pillowcases there.I think they have two buildings and one is mainly furniture

We stopped in to look for a few art pieces. Ended up finding a gift plus something for us. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Their associated shop down the way had some more amazing and unique art too!

Yes, this is a SECOND branch of the Copper Shade Tree gallery; there's another close to the entrance of Henkel Square. The two businesses are related but as the owner's daughter described to me - one has the "big stuff" (this one), the other the "smaller stuff". Some really gorgeous art here, probably the most outstanding being the kaleidoscopes and some of the wooden furniture. Prices are pretty high; worth it for the quality but don't come in thinking you'll snag a bargain. Great browsing though, which is always free :)

My husband and I visited the Copper Shade Tree on our 21st anniversary trip to Round Top. The people were more than friendly and the shop was full of examples of local artisan pieces including glass artists, fiber artists, ceramicists and metal artists. One of my favorites were the kinetic art pieces made from copper and stainless steel.

This is a place you don't want to miss. The art work that the owner's represent is outstanding! To make shopping here even better is just how nice and appreciative Gerald & Debbie treat their customers. They are happy to have you browse and they are happy to tell you about the artisan's work. They have great shows -- the Fiber Show is currently in progress. You'll want to buy everything.
