I now understand the low ratings. I made an appointment yesterday to have something notarized (was sure to put this in the comment on my appt). Arrive for appt at 2:30 and was told the notary called in and the manager who's also a notary was on lunch. It would have been helpful to have received notification of this or for manager to not go on lunch when someone needing specific services has an appt. I made another appt for today and have been trying the local branch number all morning to confirm the notary is there before I drive over and no answer. Called the main 800 number and after going through all the automated prompts eventually got a human only for the call to be suddenly disconnected after stating the reason for my call and his assurance he could help me.

Don't use services of this bank and this branch. They don't allow to withdraw money without huge fee! Though in original rules was stated differently.

I went to local branch to see about opening an account but you must either do it online or make an appointment at "my convenience" more like banks convenience because there were no appointments until next week?! Online couldn't authenticate me but I don't know many people who know the license plate from 3 years back!? Going elsewhere Wells Fargo stole from Mexican braceros in the past anyway so I never should've even tried!

For the record I’m not one Timelapse bad reviews. On the other hand this is the worst financial institution I have ever worked with. Run as fast and far away from Wells Fargo and the manager Con. Con has zero customer service skills and just does what the computer says. “It’s all systematic” is his response as to why he cannot do anything. So to avoid systematic screenings do not do business with Wells Fargo.

I stopped in to close my deceased father's account. The banker I met with had to call someone at a call center. She had to scan and email his death certificate to the person she was speaking with. I'm not sure why this step was necessary. I would think that giving it to the banker in person would suffice. I was told that the account can only be closed with court documents. While this is seemingly understandable, the small amount of money in his account is less than the cost of going to court. I asked how long Wells Fargo held money before it was turned over to the state. The only answer I got was "three to five years." I think that a banker in Texas that deals with estate issues should know exactly how long Texas statute requires monies to be turned over to the state.

Wells Fargo is a complete sham! Pay attention to the news people. There's a reason they're always in trouble. Just wished I'd wised up before 25 years of my business.

#WFB #WellsFargoBank is really scamming on your money. They insist on putting 10 day hold on our "Cash" and "Cashiers Checks", drawn on Chase bank. I was on hold to try to get them to acknowledge the cashier checks with 3 different levels of WFB banking employees, for 1 1/2 hour. Finally before ending my life, I just had to hang up. Folks...even with the 2022 technology, this proves that "you can't fix stupid"

Terrible customer service! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs! I’m closing all my Wells Fargo accounts and going where I get good customer service! Bank of America is so much easier to deal with… Save yourself time and energy and avoid this place!

Terrible customer service you have to wait in line forever and nobady care, just one person attending the line and the other ones just look at you and don’t help you. They don’t value your time be ready to wait 2 hours just to ask a question. Terrible customer service, avoid this place if you can because your business and your money is not important to them. Awful Awful Awful

Very interesting. I have never had a problem with any Wells Fargo. I have been a client for over 10 years! The banker wouldn't take me in because I didn't have appointment. She had me wait 30 mins to see her. Get this, she didn't even have a client with her.... On top of that, after I found out I couldn't do a wire transfer because she couldn't answer my question. I decided to use a personal check. I waited for a teller for 10 mins... there was no line.. I shouldn't have waited for a teller for that long. Not just that, put the tellers were saying bad words in English and Spanish. It wasn't family friendly at all!

I have to agree with the rest of these 1 star reviews. The customer service manager, Elizabeth, at the location gives terrible customer service when it comes to making the customer feel like they are a priority. She in no way wants to be inconvenienced with any type of extra work to go above and beyond for the customer. It is extremely concerning to have someone who is in charge of customer service give such poor customer service to patrons who bank at this establishment. If you are writing a negative review for this establishment I encourage you to also call the Wellsfargo Headquarter complaint line: 18668785865
