This has been the absolute worst experience I ever had with ubreakifix! My husband and I dropped off our laptop at the store 32 days ago for a simple RAM update. However, when I checked on the status of our laptop today, I was shocked to find out that not only had they not started working on it, but the front desk attendant was unable to provide us with a reason why. I requested to speak to the manager who seemed irritated and reluctant to come to the front of the store as he was eating lunch. I explained that my husband needed the laptop for work, and we were initially told it would take 24 hours to fix. The manager proceeded to shift blame onto his employees and claimed that the store has had a lot of turnover. This excuse was not acceptable as we had brought in the computer on 4/29 and as the manager, he is ultimately responsible for store operations. He became extremely rude and demanded that I leave the store after expressing my dissatisfaction with his professionalism and customer service skills. When I requested the number for corporate office, he threatened to call the police and claimed I was trespassing. I stood my ground as a paying customer, and he slammed my paperwork and laptop on the counter while telling the new employee to issue a refund back to my credit card. However, neither he nor the manager knew how to perform this task. He then struggled to issue a refund and had to call for technical support, which only added to his frustration. After repeatedly mentioning to tech support that he was unsure how to process the refund, he slammed the phone down and issued a cash refund instead. His lack of customer service skills was appalling, and I will be reporting his actions to the general manager today. Based on this experience, I highly recommend avoiding this location at all costs.

Tech name was Xander B.Dropped my PS3 Slim off in 5/4/24. Pulled it back on 5/31/24 before the repair was completed. Tech emailed me 5/19/24 to quote a $212 SSD replacement. Which is absurd, so I bought and delivered my own SSD. Tech later told me on the phone that SSDs don't work in PS3s, which is also absurd.Now I'm documenting how much damage this tech did to my machine. The retaining screw for the hard drive enclosure is completely stripped. The enclosure cover is partly broken where the screw goes through. I have a bit of extra plastic that looks like a broken wire guide from inside the PS3, which I have to open back up so I can reinstall a bunch of loose hardware that isn't needed to be removed for a hard drive swap.It looks like Xander is a liar, isn't willing or able to do the work, and has caused more damage to my machine in a month than I have in nearly a decade.

I drove in to Round Rock 2 days in a row. I was told they would repair my phone if I came in when they opened on both days. I was there the first morning and 2nd in line to have them show me they had the part and then tell me that they were catching up on orders from the day before and I would have to come back the following day when they opened at noon. I returned the following day at noon when he said they would open, only to find out that they opened at 10:30 am. As I am waiting to be checked in again, he comes back and tells me he had the part but lost the part... it wasn't where he left it and the tech had not seen it. Then, he gors back to the back again and comes up with the part but it was the wrong color/part. Who does business like this? I drive 20 miles 2 days in a row for zero service and an "oh well" attitude. Oh... and don't think calling and comfirming hours or if they have parts will work either... it won't. They will tell you the wrong hours and tell you they have parts they don't have on hand. Terrible experience. I wish the insurance company would pick a better repair service. This place is unorganized and their crew has little to no work ethic.

Health check from iPhone…Horrible customer service, and a total waste of time. The way these kids act who are running this place is atrocious. It’s like a zoo in there. Ive never seen so many unhappy customers in one place. Meanwhile these kids don’t do their jobs and have zero accountability for how they behave. The guy at the front had an attitude problem and an aggressive tone. The tech was dismissive, cold and couldn’t care less about the outcome of his work. This was a complete waste of my day, zero stars do not recommend.

This place is TERRIBLE!! I've been to another location of this franchise and had fantastic service. Over here, not only did the guy screw up my phone and give me terrible attitude, but the lady in front of me (as well as myself) was asking to speak to the manager. He was refusing to allow us to speak to the manager. Do not go to this place! Find another location at all costs!

After checking two other locations, this location had the necessary part in stock (Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 factory-installed inner screen screen protector). Dropping off the device went smoothly and the time estimate for the repair was accurate. However, the installation left something to be desired as several pieces of small debris were left under the new screen protector when it was applied. This wasn't communicated to me and I didn't notice until opening the device to use the inner screen later. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be an issue, but it's both noticeable and disappointing.

I make an appointment take my cellphone to fix my broken screen they said come around 1 pm got there at 5 pm my phone not ready the guy said that about to finish wait for 30 more minutes and come back my phone was never touch by this guy tell they couldn't fix it toke them 8 hours and my phone didn't got fix

Adrian helped me out and I thought I needed to replace the charging port he could have easily replaced that and charge me full price but his honesty and integrity fixed it with just a deep clean and didn't take my money! Will definitely recommend this repair shop to friends and family
