I've always preferred going to twin liquors but now they have tip jars. When I left a 2 dollar tip on a one hundred dollar purchase the cashier seemed less than happy. What is the appropriate gratuity for a person who simply rings up my sale? I'm going to specs till I know that the tip jars gone at twin. Specs also has a 10 percent discount for veterans.

Walked in the door and the two ladies were chatting up a storm while Michelle was busy eating at the counter. I said hello and walked to the cooler. I picked out my item’s quickly and approached the counter to have the blonde lady look at me as if I interrupted them. She proceeded to say “that it” I said why yes it is… I looked at Michelle and I clearly heard the girl at the register say “rude people” I’m not sure what they were talking about but it was evident I was unconvincing them by being there. I give 3 stars because I love the store, and I know sometimes people are having a bad day.
