Went to go pick up shampoo and conditioner, the one I needed I could only find one and ithe bottle cap for the shampoo was completely broken and half of it had leaked out because it was titled over. The price was $4.99 and the manager thought she did me a favor discounting it 15 cents. I really had a nice laugh after that. Never coming back

Very bad. Expired food products there and the manager Cameron is very rude and unprofessional. I want to give them negative star or at least zero star

This specific Ross location has some of the best merchandise than many other Ross's here in Austin. You can literally decorate your whole little starter home from throw pillows, to kitchenware.

Review only FOR STORE #1196 (BY Ikea)
I went in to return a perfume I had bought. The perfume was NEVER opened. In its original plastic packaging. When I get up to the counter, associate vallery( who ALWAYS has a bad attitude) stated no refunds on perfumes. I explained that I had my receipt and that clearly she could see that the package was in its original condition. NOT OPENED! I asked to speak to the store manager,Janice came up and immediately stated the same thing. Their policy is no refunds on perfumes even if they have not been opened. I contacted the district manager and corporate. Corporate stated that their policy is they will refund on unopened perfumes. (Go figure)
Vallery is constantly smacking on her gum, talking to folks like they are beneath her. Its disgusting. Vallery has no customer service skills whatsoever. She does not know how to talk to individuals. Ordering a customer to do something versus asking them are two very different things. Clearly this individual just needs a paycheck. Please do better when hiring staff. I would rather have one register open with a cashier-associate who demonstrates a positive attitude than several registers open with associates that act like someone just ate their lunch.

The store is fine, but the employees are pretty awful.
First and foremost, all closeout stores like this have employees on the lowest tier of caring about their products because they don't actually have a "product" that is *theirs*.
The issue is that i keep purchasing items with big holes or rips in the middle of the fabric because they carelessly (lazily) stick the price tags and security tags anywhere on a piece of clothing.
This causes holes and rips, and with synthetic fibers, it can not be repaired.
They even stick those holes through waterproof membranes like Goretex!
My latest visit (10 min before closing, for context), I simply asked the lady (who always closes) if I can just take a look at the fabric where the security tag was punched through.
She didn't respond. She just took the tag off, then just tossed it on the counter, not even in my direction. She did not set it on the counter. Tossed.
The entire encounter, she wasn't even turning her head towards my general direction.
I don't get offended, and I'm not offended at silly attitudes.
So anyway, I inspected the piece, and I noticed the tag ripped a tiny amount of fabric (that would definitely unravel after washing).
I just said, "Never mind. It looks like there's a hole. Thanks anyway."
She makes a "mmmhmmm" sound, and then just puts the same blunt security pin through the fabric carelessly (definitely lazily), quite passive aggressively--as if me not purchasing a damaged item, or being present 10 minutes before closing was extremely inconvenient for her.
Ten minutes to closing means they are not closed.
People's money shouldn't be used to purchase new but unknowingly broken/damaged goods.
Especially when it's your own employees who damage these items and sell it to people who think they're not damaged.
Lastly, this woman is always terrible with customers. Always rude.
Once, I heard this woman trash talking a customer after he paid, and the customer was just making small talk.
Can't you talk in private? Or gossip behind closed doors? Not out loud in front of a line of customers?
Do you think because you're whispering on your walkie-talkie, that no one else can hear what's coming out of your actual mouth?
Crazy world we live in where the younger generations are more respectful than these older generations.
