Had daughter there for a while and staff was great then they got a new director who changed everything and even though been there for years since they had a waiting list they decided they didn't want to put in the energy for students who may not be as easy as others and kept suspending when had troubled days even though previous directors never did. Never convey any troubles as I openly did with them cause may use any situation as an excuse to suspend instead of having extra sympathy and patience when going through a hard time.

We are very thankful for this school and all the teachers. My daughter was there for a little over a year. We relocated and had to switch her school. She was always so happy to go to school every day. Teachers loves kids and you can feel that energy. Great stuff very friendly and I always felt very supported by them Ligia, Jerry and Adalia are the best! It is very safe school, and they care for safety and education level your child receives. They are very creative with special events and fun activities they provide for kids and family. They care bringing everyone together and make it feel as big family. I am very thankful for this team kindness and care. We will keep great memories in our hearts.

I worked here for about 6 months and loved every minute of it. Primrose schools are top-notch and the Primrose School of Round Rock is no exception. The standard for teachers here is high and the leadership team and owner demand a lot out of their team. The school is clean and organized. I would still be working here if I hadn’t needed to move states.

My daughter works at primrose round rock north, and she loves it. I attended the spring fling they had, and was amazed at the organization and how well the kids are educated. She talks about how much she loves the staff and management , also how well they treat her, the children and parents.-Nancy

We relocated to the area over the summer and visited many daycare/preschools in the area. We chose Primrose and believe its an excellent place for our child and sharing our considerations that made it top choice:Communications App - Lots of communications from owner, director and teachers. Weekly newsletters and calendar of events. Love the pics they send and lets you know how much your child ate and when they slept.Teachers - Some turnover/mat leave, but have been good, caring teachers. Promise of Low ratio - was a big draw for us with 2 teachers supporting the room. We have noticed quite a bit of turnover and the secondary teacher in the room has been lacking. We assume this is prevalent with other daycare/preschools.Safety - Very thoughtful of COVID and requires pin to enter the buildingPlay Area - Large Area with play structures, shaded. Summertime splash days.Meals - Provided and big plus for us not to have to bring snacks and pack food. Good variety of food.Extra Touches - Backpack, and nap mats provided. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of. Nut free for allergies, supports you all the way through kindergarten with after school programs. Like other schools - extracurricular activities are offered.Building, play area and rooms are clean with plenty of sinks and variety of toys.Considerations - Older kids need to wear uniforms. Shorter operating hours during holidays and pick up time is earlier at 5:30pm.

My children have been at this school for only a couple of months now, but it is fantastic. We previously attended a Primrose in the Houston area before we moved here and we love the philosophy and foundation of Primrose Schools. However, when COVID first happened, we took our daughter out of that location and when we went to put her back, there was case after case after case without any real consideration from those owners for closing classrooms etc. It was a "what can ya do" approach and it just did not make us comfortable having our child there. The RR location obviously has different owners and I can tell you their policies regarding COVID are top notch along with their run of the mill sick policy as well. The teaching staff is amazing with our children and the front office staff are so accomodating, even in times of very low childcare availability and space, especially for infants. We were able to be flexible with our infant start date, and I know they appreciated that from us. I know not all families can do that, but we were able to and it not only helped them out it allowed us to go ahead and start our older child in the preschool classroom so that we didn't have to continue holding her out of school until space was available for both.My preschool child does cry at every single drop off, but both of her teachers are so sweet and help her settle in within minutes each day. She's already made great friends in her class and on the weekends always says "I want to go back to school" (yes even with the crying at drop off, she still wants to go every day. I think that speaks volumes for how well she does when she settles into the class for the day!)My infant always has a great time. The teachers love him and I love his teachers! They're always so timely updating the app with his meals/diaper changes/naps and photos and you can really tell these ladies have a true love for their jobs and the children they care for! They follow YOUR schedule for them regarding feeding etc. as well as your instructions on what to do if they sleep through the next feeding etc. They do everything possible to make you 1,000% comfortable and confident in leaving your child in their care that you don't have to worry about whether or not they're going to do things the way you do at home, because they most definitely listen to the parents and go off of baby's cues!I would recommend this particular Primrose to anyone who asks!

Absolutely, one of the most welcoming and caring schools I have encountered. I'm so glad to have found this school for my children where they are happy, comfortable and loved by all the staff. They truly strive to be the best school that they can be and very supportive of parents. They are invested in your kids as much as you are. I feel like we are co-parenting and making the best decisions for our kids based on their particular needs. I love that feeling.

One of my kids was here for almost 5 years the thr other for one year, before we moved. This center was absolutely amazing. We have loved how welcoming they have been to us and our children. Teachers and administrators have always been incredibly helpful and kept us informed at all times. My kids loved their teachers and their friends. The greatest asset they have though is the infant room with Ms.Robin and Ms.Lorraine. those two women have a wealth of experience and patience and that room always feels so full of joy. We were so sad when our time using this Primrose was done, but we are so glad that it has been there for us for so many years.

If your child is there only part time you will get charge for all extra curriculum activities even if he does not get to participate in ANY of them because they fall on the days he does not attend school. So you pay for a service that he is not receiving with no other choice but to pay them or put your child full time.

My grandkids love going to Primrose. They are so happy when I drop them off during our Austin visits and are always excited to tell me how their day was at pick up. The building is secure and I like that I have my own password to the school. The classrooms are always clean and teachers are kind and friendly.

I have transitioned my 2 girls, 1.5 y/o and 4 y/o, to this Primrose location off of Great Oak based on a mom friend's recommendations. I was looking for a school in which not only were the care, education, and well-being, but also the staff and teachers well-being as well. It seems apparent that the staff and teachers are regarded by Jerry, the director of the school. Thank you so much for holding them in high esteem! They deserve our attention and praise as much as our kids do, as they too invest their own time and talent to providing the care we want for our kiddos.Thank you, Primrose Great Oak, for being SO COMMUNICATIVE most especially through these tough times of COVID. This school and its leadership seems to be striking the right balance of implementing and enforcing its safety protocols but also at least taking a pulse check with the parents. It goes to show that this school is trying its best to balance both worlds, and I'm sure sacrifices (long extra hours probably) are being made to keep this place safe. I will recommend this location to anyone who asks.On top of this, the staff and teachers host an incredibly diverse and engaging curriculum for both my girls. Growing butterflies and mealworms, learning social skills through their puppet program, having dance parties, splash pad...I'm so glad I was forced to re-look at alternative daycares in the first place.

We moved from South Austin summer of 2019 and our children were previously at Child's Day, which we loved. We tried a few day cares in the area, one which lasted for 3 months and absolutely horrible and one which lasted for about a little over a year and was ok. Eventually we found our way to Primrose and my only regret is not doing is sooner.Pros -They have the process and procedures in place to run the daycare smoothly. The teachers are trained, caring, and professional.Unlike the other school we tried, the staff at Primrose follow staff student ratios, required play periods, other rules required for daycares. The owner of this specific location is ALWAYS on site and available. He is invested and it shows.Cons -It's a little bit pricier than some of the other schools, but not much more. For us, when we considered the past headaches of constantly following up on substandard care and wasting time meeting with directors to see no change, the price was well worth it.We pay... they care... and they do it well. 100% recommend.

We've had a fantastic experience at this Primrose location and can't speak highly enough of the teachers, staff and owner. Love that we feel so safe knowing our kids are in great hands and learning so much every day.

I would say the experience you have here depends on the classroom teacher. Right now parents aren't allowed to conveniently and directly communicate with the teachers because we can't go into the building for drop off or pick up. There's an app, but everyone can respond/read your messages to the teacher.

I paid the registration fees based on a promise of a possibility for my son to join in July and certainly in August. We are in September and there was no spot available for him yet and they refused to refund the registration fees. They seem to be scamming parents with registration fees.
