Don’t go here if you’re in perimenopause or menopause. They will never educate or inform you about hormone health. Not a single brochure or mention of hormones. No questions or recommendations on lifestyle or HRT. They won’t even suggest you come back at a later time for an appt just to focus on that. You will get a PAP and if you go over your 15mins they will charge you extra. You even have to fill out a waiver agreeing to the overage fees if your appointment goes longer than 15mins! I was offered prayers for my hormone health.

Fantastic experience! I was treated kindly form the front person, to the tech for my mammo and Dr. Lucero is amazing! I just moved to Texas so I am so happy I found a GYN that I like.

Overall my experience was great here up until the birth of my first baby in November 2023. The bedside manner is fantastic here with everyone I spoke to and they were extremely efficient to respond and assist throughout my visits. However, to summarize, if you have anything unique about your pregnancy like I did, I’d recommend going elsewhere. I was told when I showed up to deliver that a last minute change they made to my birth plan would not allow me to have an epidural. The details- at the recommendation of my obgyn here I started seeing the hematologist that she referred me to due to low platelet count. After months of seeing the hematologist, taking time off of work, taking prescribed medication, dollars spent, etc. ultimately my hematologist and obgyn developed a birth plan for me which included a platelet transfusion so that I could get an epidural. When it came time to deliver at St David’s round rock medical center (in the same center) the anesthesiologist would not do the platelet transfusion due to the riskiness and therefore an epidural as well. It wasn’t just one anesthesiologist, but multiple that said the same thing over the course of my time at the hospital. Why was an anesthesiologist not included in my birth plan if they were going to be the ones administering the epidural? The last minute change of not being able to receive an epidural left me in a panic, stressed, and with the immense pain of an induced birth without pain medication. I originally wanted multiple children, but now I question that due to my birth experience.I gave this feedback to my obgyn and she agreed that the mark was missed with my birth, but wasn’t sure what could have been done better besides maybe in the future giving her phone number for after hours care. She said unfortunately sometimes this is experience you get with “the weekend crew”

Dr Lucero and the team at OakWood Women’s Center are the best! They treat me with kindness and respect and have never once made me feel bad about being overweight.

The staff is very rude. I didn’t even want make the appointment because how rudely she spoke. I called multiple times and it was always going on voicemail and the one time I connected she was rude and just hung up before I can speak. I guess they have enough patients to not care for more, but being in the medical industry first thing you should be is compassionate. I am sure the doctors are great but this location needs better receptionist!

Do not go here! They will mislead you into extensive testing, not tell you that your insurance is out of network and months later you’re slapped with an +$800 bill. Then they will tell you that they can no longer help you, and it’s now in between you and the vendor who also cannot help you.I am so upset with this office - who I saw for over 13 years. I loved Dr Murphree, and ever since I needed OB care when I had my first daughter, and since he retired, I have had a horrible experience. I was fear-mongered and treated like I was incompetent when I declined the Covid vaccine, when I was just 8weeks pregnant back in 2021. Then all of a sudden, women started miscarrying and the CDC told Dr’s to stop giving the shot to pregnant women, only then did the office take down the covid vaccine signs and stop pushing women to get it. What would they have done if I lost my daughter bc they tried to push me into getting this vaccine that was not studied on pregnant women??? Absolutely nothing. I am disgusted with this establishment and I urge you to look elsewhere for your OBGYN care.

Absolutely LOVE my Doctor there (Hernandez) But the front desk staff is terrible. They are rude, unhelpful and NEVER answer the phones. Appointments are nearly impossible to schedule. Everything went downhill when taken over by Seton.

I've been a patient of this group for over 20 years. I've seen two of the the original physicians, Murphree/Fitzpatrick. Since they retired the practice has been assumed by Seton, which is the problem. I tried to schedule an appt, they do not take any patients of previous Docs and Medicare. Gee sorry I retired. Healthcare today is all about $$$$$$.Don't ever use a seton facility

It’s been 2 years now with Dr. Mary Harrison. She’s extremely friendly and sweet. She patiently answers to questions. The staff there are very helpful and attentive.

After 20 years as a patient, my doctor retired. I was told when I called to schedule an appointment that I could not be seen by anyone in the practice.

Extremely Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Behavior!I am compelled to share our disheartening experience atAscension Medical Group Seton Women's Health Round Rock. We had an appointment scheduled for my daughter at 9 AM, which was booked four months in advance. Despite following every instruction provided by the clinic, our experience was marred by unprofessionalism and disrespect.Conflicting Instructions: We received a call to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out forms. An hour before the appointment, a text instructed us to complete the forms online to save waiting time before appointment, which we did promptly, including online check-in and payment!Arrival and Dismissal: We arrived exactly at 9 AM, only to be met with an unreasonable and rude response from the front office. The representative accused us of being late, citing a need to complete forms that we had already filled out online.Inappropriate Behavior: Our attempt to explain that all forms were completed online was met with laughter, eye-rolling, and outright dismissal. The representative disregarded the clinic’s responsible for messaging system and insisted that the doctor would not see us.Lack of Empathy and Professionalism: There was no attempt to understand our situation or acknowledge the efforts we made to comply with their procedures. Instead, we were told our appointment must be rescheduled. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in a medical setting where empathy and understanding are paramount. The contradiction in instructions and the subsequent rude treatment we received reflect poorly on Ascension Medical Group Seton Women's Health Round Rock office. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for patients' time and effort, particularly when dealing with healthcare matters.I hope this review serves as a call for improvement in customer service and professionalism at Ascension Medical Group Seton Women's Health Round Rock, but this is just hope... Just reviewed bunch of other reviews - and looks like they even stopped responding to reviews. So looks like they just truly do not care.

Terrible place. We came in the office in time but there was a line. While we got to the check in it was 8 min after appointment time and we were rudely told to reschedule because we are late. It was my daughters first appointment and I took her from school and I took time off from work.It wouldn’t be the biggest problem if the person at the front desk wasn’t terribly rude and talked with attitude
