I came in and the front desk all stared at me awkwardly. I waited for half an hour until someone noticed me and started chuckling because I’ve been waiting for so long beyond my appointment time. (I don’t know why that was even funny)When the hair stylist was done cutting my hair he left me with wet hair without saying anything. He automatically assumed I didn’t pay to get my hair dried.I told him he was supposed to dry my hair and he asked if I even paid for that (I did).Like how do you not check what your customer paid for before starting the service?Weird and unprofessional place. I wouldn’t come here again.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEI recently used haircut services at JCPenney salon in Round Rock and had the most awful experience of my life. I had booked an appointment with Christopher, one of the senior hairstylists at the salon expecting satisfactory services based on the experience and $55 charge that I was to pay. I was planning to donate my hair for cancer patients and had made the stylist aware of this before hand. There is nothing fancy that needs to be done to meet this need, however he failed to do this and ended up cutting my hair so unevenly that I had to give up more than expected hair length to salvage it. The worst part was that he did not have the courtesy to even communicate to me his mistake or confront me and just told me that the job was done. This is definitely a very dissatisfying and an insulting experience.I was not charged for this service as a compensation by the salon and helped by another stylist but the overall experience was horrible and would never come back to this place or advise anybody. The charges are not cheap and the level of service that is provided is not comparable with it at all!

Nana is awesome! She's been my stylist for close to 3 years now. She knows my hair and what works and doesn't work.

I went to get color done believe the stylist I had is named Ashley, I have never been as disappointed in my color as I was after Ashley finished working on me. My color came out way darker than I wanted she didn’t explain anything at all to me abt what would happen with my highlights (how they’d be completely washed out) or the fact that the color would be BLACK instead of the brown I wanted. When I asked her to fix it she said she had another customer coming and couldn’t!!! I was not leaving until she fixed it. She did some stuff but still it is not what I went in for. My kids screamed when they saw how terrible my hair looked when I got home. Now I need to go again to get this fixed. I will not be returning to the salon in Round Rock JC Penney’s again. This has been a nightmare to look at and btw no customer ever showed up as she had stated. She is supposed to be the senior stylist too :(. Terrible experienceService: Hair coloring

First let me say I did not know JCP had a salon inside the store. Had been going for months and never knew it was inside. Being at the very back of the store would make the store loose clients. Upon arriving to the salon a few minutes early I was greeted by Erin. She informed me she was finishing up with another client and would be right with me. Waiting maybe :5 minutes and Erin walked me into the salon. What I liked about her she asked me questions about my concerns when it comes to my hair. She listened to me and explained everything she was doing throughout the process. I loved she was so friendly and took her time. I will definitely be returning to see Erin again!

OMG that was a very bad hair cut. A simple straight cut seemed to be impossible for the hair stylist, as you can see she left a long portion of hair on my left and the cut is very irregular. Regret going to this salon. Very very very bad service.Service: Haircut

You guys don't answer the phone to the salon. I have called this number the whole day, being transferred to the salon multiple time today, a still no answer comes on. This is unacceptable.

I absolutely love my hair thanks to Mindy. A great haircut and a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend her. She has taken care of me and my family for years and each time we are so happy with the results. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Safe Hair styles with JCP Salon.I received consultation with 'Master stylist" Mindy, who refused to do my hair the color I asked. Instead talked me into a red color, which was less edgy than what I wanted. I was aware of how much my hair was processed, and not afraid of chopping my 22" shorter. The banding issues as well as the semipermident dye that may have a hard time processing. It's one of the main reasons I optioned for a darker color, but she INSISTED the red for color correction. Which isn't a color I generally dye my hair.I walked out feeling ugly and sad after getting my hair done. Touch ups were offered, but why would I waste my time when you didn't do what I asked, in the first place.I found a New Stylist who managed to take my hair VERY light, remove the banding and the temporary color without my hair being damaged! We've done a lot of fun fashion colors this summer because of her professional skill! Not to mention how rude some of the other the other stylists have been when they came into Sephora or lied to their clients about free services after covid, making them angry on purpose.Or the angry little girl (daughter of a salon worker) that complained to the general manager and the store manager when I told her, her mother needs to be present to use her employee discount. Its so unprofessional to ask your coworkers why they have fun colored hair but never "do their hair." Really loved that level of harassment, Thanks for being rude, Karen! You make a work day so fun when you stop by!Over all, even offered a 25% employee discount on this salon, I'd rather spend the extra and go somewhere professional.
