We absolutely LOVE Dr.Kniffen and his staff! Very knowledgeable, fast, and my dog loves going there. I accidentally found them after calling the Hutto animal clinic and having the RUDEST person on the phone, when I called here It was like angels answered my prayers and sent me here! They are also very accommodating with scheduling.

I have been going to Dr. Kniffin and his wonderful staff for the past 4 years and always received the best care. We are on our 2nd dog, Keanu, a pitbull rescue who recently was very sick. Dr. Kniffin's office were able to squeeze us in on a Friday after. We are so thankful!

Dr Kniffin has been our Vet 4 over 18 years we are truly blessed with a knowledgeable man and not 2 mention he has an excellent staff that work well as a team I wouldn’t trade them 4 the world He is always there 4 each one of my dogs if it’s an emergency he is always good about accommodating his schedule. He truly cares 4 each one of my animals whether big or small. I honestly believe I hit the jackpot with this clinic

Waaaayyyy over priced compared to other vets and the vet was rude. Not the person I'd want giving me bad news about my pet. Did not adequately explain things to me and made things seem worse than they were.

Dr. Kniffin and his staff (especially Mary) are the best! They have so much patience for my little trouble maker of a dog, Gus Gus. I would definitely and have definitely recommended Hwy 79 Animal Clinic to anyone! Plus, they are next to a delicious fruit place. Win/Win!!

Best vet I have ever visited and will continue to always take my pets to. The only doctor to call and check on our pets without need just because he cares. Is always honest and forthright and tells you exactly what your animal needs..not what you want to hear.

Dr. Kniffen and staff are AWESOME! This is an old-school vet, not a chain, which is important to me. Hwy 79 Animal Clinic gives one-on-one care to your pet to ensure that your pet is comfortable and well taken care of. The doctor is gentle and the doggies love him. Usually very nervous, my doggy actually ran to the Vet's door, eager to go in for her post-surgery checkup.

Brought my cat in for an evaluation of a bump and with the treatment doctor Kniffin gave us it went away! He’s a very serious man and takes his patients care seriously. His wife is a sweetheart and together they run a quality and reasonably affordable vet clinic. I will return when my cat has more acute needs but on our last visit I didn’t receive the evaluation I requested for his insurance so I had to get one from a clinic closer to home.
