Mel's been cutting my hair for 11 years. I have ventured to others, and she always has to fix it. I haven't gone to anyone else in quite a while.5 stars all the way.

I am so happy to have found Mel through a coworker of mine! I have been struggling to find someone that understood my style. Mel really listens to what you want and doesn't let you leave feeling dissatisfied with your look.I also loved that I was able to get in to see her within a day and she really worked with my schedule!Services: Hair coloring

Mel has been my stylist for years! She always knows how to make me look my best and is a joy to chat with. It's very hard to find a good stylist for men's cuts and Mel is the best. I highly recommend her to any guy looking for a good cut with one of the best!

I finally found a great hair colorist! Professional, on time, and a better color than I expected. I had a horrible color(box color, missed spots, d’ark brown, red, black and my gray). My hair looks like someone put a bowl on it to cut it and then poured very dark unnatural aubergine paint all over it. Not cut in the style I showed her because she’s arrogant and doesn’t listen. I asked for long choppy bangs and showed a pic. They’re too short and straight across like a child. It’s terrible. She said I chose it and SHE DID HER JOB so basically, f me. I’m not leaving the house like this and trying to find someone to help me.Services: Highlights

I just had full foil highlight in my hair. Not only did I get what I wanted, but Mel exceeded my expectations. I scheduled my 8 week touch up before I even left. So happy with my new highlights!

I went to my appt with a picture of a basically bleached blond hair that I wanted. She said it may take 2 times to achieve. 4 1/2 hours later I have dishwater blond hair. I started with a golden blond. I also wanted my new growth taken care of. Well she put a darker color on my roots and then DOWN over an inch. I got a FULL highlight, but as you can see in the pic, this is no full highlight. A full highlight should have the same color on the whole head!! When she was done and blown out I had a dark patch on the side. So she put some highlights in that section and that didn't work. Then she put more bleach on that side and I left with that area orange. 285 + 40 tip (cuz I'm nice). Got home and my hair looks no different than what it was when I walked in. I text her and told her how upset I was. She called me and said she could try and fix it but at this point I don't think she could fix anything Bottom line I paid a ton of money for my hair to get damaged and look no different!! 11/13 - I must refute this person: I had 1/4 inch new growth, look at my pic attached. She is a total liar!
