I went in for a haircut and full highlight. I gave an inspo pic(attached to the review)and said make it as blonde as possible, I always get my hair highlighted and it always goes super blonde. This time around it took 5 hours for a full highlight! The bottom half of my hair sat with bleach for 3 hours, I saw pieces of my hair breaking off in knots after it was washed. The top half didn't get enough time and barely looks highlighted at all. It's so dark, I attached a picture of the top, that does not look freshly highlighted into the brightest blonde you can get. She used a toner on my hair and made everything over all come out so dark. I didn't even have time to get a haircut! I just wanted out of that place after being held hostage for 5 hours. I know I have a lot of hair but it's never taken someone 5 hours to complete a full highlight on me. I do not recommend at all.

Katie gave my daughter exactly what she wanted. It was her first time going to a salon for a haircut so she was a little nervous but Katie’s friendliness made her feel very comfortable very soon. She said she wil definitely go back when it’s time for another haircut or wants to try something new. Not only did she get a haircut she got her confidence boosted! ?

I came to gypsy rose to get a hair color correction after another salon messed up my hair. Laura marvel did an amazing job turning my orange bleached hair into a pretty cola red hair. Its not easy to work with a dark hair but she nailed it ! I got so many compliments after and i absolutely loved her work. Never going back elsewhere. Super happy ! Laura deserves a promotion and recognition ❤️ Thank you Gypsy Rose and Laura Marvel

Hear me out, I’m a really busy mom who doesn’t have time or the money to be pampered often. I finally saved the money to have my hair dyed and cut and was so excited for this appointment . The stylist I got (I had no idea at the time ) was very new to the trade . Her name is Ella and she was HORRIBLE with communication , I wanted blonde in my dark thick hair and was not informed until 4 hours into my appointment that she couldn’t dye my hair the way I wanted . I was also left at the wash station for 20 plus minutes waiting for her to come back with toner . I had no idea where she went for that long and then came back and told me “ you’ll need like four sessions to get blonde done”. My hair was dyed over. A year ago with red and my hair grows super fast. I even text my hair dresser friend (from another state ) who said my hair could have handled this.
I was texting a manager of this business who was kind and told me they could schedule a redo in six weeks to avoid hair damage. I was grateful and couldn’t wait to have my hair redo or at least close to the blonde I wanted.
Less than 24 hours I’m now told by this business that I will be charged full price and STILL won’t get the hair I wanted .
I hate reviews, I hate being this person but when you have to save and get child care to finally feel better about yourself as a mom and a female. This HURTS. I am so beyond words upset at Ella for her lack of care to a client and lack of communication . DO NOT BOOK WITH HER .
The message the owners says to my review is incorrect. Or miscommunicated , the stylist did not tell me anything about a color consultation until 4 hours into my 5 hour appointment . If she told me within the first hour of me being there I would have been understanding but to be charged full price when I was given highlights (barely) and I was charged for balayage. Again if the stylist told me right off what she could do or handle at this stage in her career , totally different story. But to then be told on here by the owner that I was in the wrong , the stylist did not tell the managers / owner the actual story here.
Again I have nothing to gain here , I am not getting my money back , I am informing future clients the policy and lack of communication of this establishment.

Pay almost 200 (halo highlights) for people to not even know I got my hair done.. Beautiful salon, but prices outrages for amount of service ( speaking as ex- hairdresser)

Krissy P is the stylist with the mostist. Whether it's for a haircut, color, balayage, or root touch up, she goes above and beyond every time!! She is very thorough and takes extra care to get every single detail nailed. She truly cares what her customers want and has great recommendations for color and cut based on your skin tone and face structure. And the cherry on top is that she's fun to talk to!
Gypsy Rose Salon has excellent customer service. Punctuality, communication, and cleanliness is superb.

This is the only place I will get my hair done and have been going off and on for about 4 years. I want to say that I randomly book with any consultant and have always had a great experience. With that being said, I booked with a beautiful sweetheart named Ella because she was the only one available. She did an "okay" job but will never book with her again. For the first time, my hair looks very dry and the color looks very off. She is a very sweet lady but will NOT book with her ever again. Ever.

There was 3 police cars! They called the cops on me when I asked for a refund because thei turned my Fiance's hair orange 1 day before our wedding. If you want to go to jail then just go to Gypsy Rose

I see Brianna at Gypsy Rose Salon, I was in search of a hairstylist specializing in vintage pin curling and hair cuts and she is amazing!!!! It's hard to find a stylist that can do this. Also I almost fall asleep at the bowl every time haha. It's a very relaxing experience. She's the best :) she's a very well rounded stylist.
