I just left after asking for something extremely simple. I wanted my hair straightened, a inch trimmed, and my hair braided. I made it clear the braid was optional. I was told they "didn't have time because of the back to school rush." Yes, you read that correctly, a hair salon too busy to do hair. There was ONE person waiting after me (I could see the online list) and it was 1:50pm and they close at 8. And I was told that a dry straighten and trimming an inch off hair all one length would be $71. This salon advertises haircuts and hairstyles. It seems they don't really offer the second part. When I worked in retail, I was told never to turn away business. I have literally been going there for 10 years. They lose not only me as a customer but my husband and two sons.

I walked in the store at 7:30. Immediately an older white lady yelled “we are not taking anyone else. We already have 4 waiting.” Then the manager, a black lady who recognized me as a regular walked over and said “it’s too late to take any more customers.” Of course I said “well you don’t close ‘til 8.” The manager said she would do a neck trim but not a “full haircut.” My haircut is a half on the back and a 3 on top, extremely simple and quick, but she “didn’t have time.” There were not 4 customers ahead of me. There was one kid getting her haircut and her parents and brother were there with her. There were not 4 customers ahead of me, just 4 in the store. While I waited they turned away 3 more walk-ins. The business hours are open until 8, not employees need to be leaving at 8. The whole time I was there the older white trash lady loudly spoke to the manager about how stupid it was for “customers to walk in that late.” If the employees need to be walking out at 8, well then close at 7:30… a customer should be able to walk in at 7:57 and receive a haircut. I wouldn’t do that but if they can’t, why be open?

Gabi- the worker here was AMAZING she gave me the exact hair style I wanted! She asked me questions and specified what I wanted! I loved this experience!
Requested style: I wanted a cute bang cut cut with an ear piece and the base in the back cut! (It looks like anime hair)
Specialties: Listening to exactly what you want! Gabi-the worker who did my hair, she asked questions and made sure she was taking her time and doing a good job!

Bruh literally kill me, I asked for 1.5 inch off the top (my hair was like 6 inches), got this goofy short bowl cut instead, sideburns are uneven, literally picking out a hat right not to wear for the coming months
