So GP1 fixed my car after a damage about less than a year ago. I originally had run-flat tires that they replaced with aftermarket non run-flat tires, which i didn’t know until now when i took my car to another service center. I know i should’ve checked at the time, but i trusted their service and professionalism, and expected they have had replaced the tires with original run-flat tires as recommended by Mercedes Benz. And that was the reason for me going to a Mercedes Benz certified collision center in the first place! There is no spare tire in the car to change with in case there is a damage, and this could’ve put me and my family in danger.
I actually had another incident with them where they said they replaced another tire that had a nail on it and i figured it wasn’t replaced after i drove the car off, and had to get back to them to show them and get it fixed. I thought mistakes happen and didn’t make a big deal out of it, regardless the inconvenience and my time wasted. But now after this second incident, who knows what else did they mess up? Wouldn’t recommend them!
Their recklessness isn’t acceptable! I’ve paid to replace the non run-flat tires now, but I’ll need a refund!

You are sending this text to the wrong person. Asking me for a review on repairs to a Mercury. I don’t own a mercury

Chris made the process easy, transparent and streamlined. I feel this level of service has been forgotten so it’s been a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend Chris & GP1 Collision in Round Rock, TX.

Edit to GP1: While it is completely acceptable to offer empathy for my car being a total loss, which turned out fine by the way, your further explanation of how that works was unnecessary and borders on an attempted gaslight, since the total loss was not the issue stated or what drove my complaint. Thanks but it's obvious that communication and customer service is not something GP1 has improved on.
Although the first thing I was asked to do was complete a form with my name and contact information, GP1 did not spell my name correctly, or contact me to provide updates. I received a text link that I checked regularly. I finally saw an estimate there and called to notify Robert that I did not agree with it. At that point he could have overcome my objections by providing a description or actual pictures of the damage I couldn't see, but he instead became defensive. In fact, he apologized for that by the end of the call but then took an even more short and condescending tone throughout the rest of my experience at pick up time. He even went as far as telling me my battery was bad and would need to be replaced. When I suggested it was only weak from sitting un-driven for over 2 weeks, he snapped back and actually walked me to the front of my vehicle to show me a small amount of corrosion that needed to be cleaned from the post and said it was proof my battery was "dead". No sir, that is a normal part of battery maintenance that I haven't completed in some time. We all get busy and neglect something, right? Was I expected to go along with this lie because I'm a female who couldn't possibly know anything about auto repair or maintenance? I wonder. Well, some of us are raised by military mechanics who know we have more than half a brain. Incidentally, my collision repair estimate also included an unnecessary and expensive mechanical repair.
The bottom line here is that even if I chose to decline the initial GP1 estimate, it did not have to mean that I would not use them at all or never refer friends, co-workers or even strangers to them. The treatment I received did.

I had a great experience with GP1 Collision Center after getting rear-ended. Their response was fast, and the process was smooth from start to finish. Robert took the time to thoroughly explain the step-by-step process when I dropped off my car, which I really appreciated. Throughout the repair process, they kept me updated regularly, and the estimated pick-up date was spot on. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and professional collision center.

I was referred to GP1 collision as a preferred shop by my insurance company. The entire process was so easy. Robert was my service representative. He got my vehicle in quickly and had everything wrapped up about ten days sooner than initially estimated. He even helped me navigate an insurance dilemma at the end of the process and likely saved me money. I highly recommend Robert and GP1 collision.

Had damage to my bumper after an accident. Took my vehicle here after reading reviews (reviews were mixed but decided to give them a fair chance). In hindsight I should have gone elsewhere after this experience.
They did not align the driver side headlight to the bumper component. Now there is an obvious gap. When i pointed it out to Jeff he apologized and said they would fix it, since they also completely forgot to fix/replace a visibly broken plastic trim insert in the bumper along the bottom on the driver side, they replaced the (other side insert that had no damage). I had to leave my vehicle an additional few days. When I returned to pick up my vehicle the bumper was still not aligned to the headlight. Jeff said it would “fan out”… I am not an expert in car body shop repair but do not see how it would “fan out” and fix itself if the bumper is supposed to be secured firmly to the vehicle.
They were sure to charge the insurance though and collect payment from them.
Fast forward to now August. This repair was done in May. The bumper paint is starting to peel at the bottom corner. See picture attached. Poor paint job from what I can see.
9/18/24: To address the comment by the person who replied to dismiss my review. I have posted a picture of communication I received only after I posted this review. Jeff definitely was your employee and my repairs were performed here.

I took my truck for a simple 3800.00 repair. They did a pour job...my right fender and bumper didn't line up. They refused correct it and they claimed it was already like that...thank goodness I had pictures. I had to get my insurance involved...which caused me a lot time. I would not recommend this bodyshop.

Robert knows his stuff and knows what most people need to know to understand the process with the who, what, when and why’s. He spent a little extra time with us and it made all the difference in having a piece of mind. Thank you Robert!
