I cannot crow the praises of Phillip Gunter enough. He is kind, diligent, and goes so far above and beyond I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised. When I met Phillip, our family had an insurance claim on our record for some stolen bikes (the police caught the guys, it was a legit theft) but we were still being penalized with higher rates (theft claims = fraud flag or something). Phillip stayed in touch for over two years, checking rates each time. This year, the theft claim aged off, and Farmers was able to save us over $2000 a year on our home and auto. The signup process has been personal and easy. I've already recommended him to multiple friends, and we finally got our life insurance sorted out. Phillip Gunter = peace of mind!

I've been acquainted with Phillip a lot longer than I've had him as my agent, so when my previous insurer (who I'd been with for decades) lost their focus on customer service, I asked Phillip to see what he could do. He put together a package that covered everything, identified some holes in my previous coverage, and all this at a better rate. He's also helped out with a few side issues. With him, I'm no longer in doubt as to whether or not I'm being represented.

Phillip is the best I've ever worked with. He's very prompt at responding when I have any questions about my payments, policy or renewals. Recently I had major surgery and was out of work for a month in recovery. When Phillip found out about it, he gave me a credit of $45 on my policy! I was incredibly moved by his neighborly gesture. It was a wonderful reminder that there are still great insurance agents that care in this day and age when it can seem like we are just numbers to the insurance industry. I'm grateful to have found the best and I recommend him to anyone seeking a thorough, caring and honest insurance agent.

Do you ever wish that you had a friend in the insurance business? Someone you could trust, who would go the extra mile, someone you could really trust to take care of you? That’s Phillip Gunter. He’s been our Insurance Agent for 7 years and is so great and resourceful. He’s saved us hundreds of dollars per year by combining our coverages. He was right on our doorstep when our water main broke on our house and walked with us after a fender bender damaged my car. As a long time RR resident, Phillip also knows people and loves to share his contacts. He also knows all the taco spots! We could not be more satisfied!

We love Phillip Gunter's Farmers Insurance agency because he is so available and knowledgeable! Whether we're in crisis mode (there's a leak under our kitchen in the slab!), maintenance mode (we no longer own that motorcycle), or adventure mode (we just bought an investment property!), Phillip is always there and gets us through!!

Insurance is insurance and while Farmers does provide excellent coverage, my 5 star rating is based solely upon the service of Phillip Gunter. He has for years been a trusted advisor and has provided me with support and advice that I have come to rely on. I like Farmers- they've been very good to my family over the years- but if Phillip went elsewhere I would go with him. I highly recommend him and his service. :)

Maybe you'll get cheaper insurance somewhere else, I can't say...I have compared a couple of places and I get a better rate with Farmers. But I'm writing this review not because of the rates, I'm writing this review because of my agent Phillip Gunter. He has always provided me with excellent, FAST service since 2009. I can say confidently that Phillip has always had my best interests in mind. I have always been able to count on him.

I would recommend and refer any and everyone to Phillip. He does a wonderful job ensuring you have the correct coverage (for me, home and auto insurance), that you understand why certain coverages are needed and why others may not be the correct choice for your situation. Phillip also goes over and beyond to provide the best service possible. I had roof damage from strong winds that turned into an claim with Farmers. Phillip was at my front door the next morning to make sure we were ok, to ensure the adjuster came by at the expected time, and hand held us thru the entire process. Phillip started as my agent, but I'm proud to now call him my friend!

I moved to Farmers Insurance with Phillip after 18 years with another insurance company. Kind of a scary move, not knowing exactly what to expect. About two days after I made the switch, I was involved in the worst wreck of my life when a truck ran a red light and hit the car my son and I were in. My first call was to Phillip, and it was so great to know from the very beginning that he was there to help me in any way possible through a mess like that.When the other insurance company decided not to take full responsibility for the accident, Phillip and Farmers stepped in and took the load off of my shoulders. I have no doubt that I made the right decision and am grateful to have Phillip just a phone call or email away.
