Usually when I’m ready to check out, it seems there is only one checker,Joan. She is very slow. So I always have to wait. But she’s nice. The store is always clean and well stocked.

Ordered soda online with a coupon code. The next day I called to verify the order and was told it was there waiting. When I arrived I was told their system was "hacked" and the coupon was not honored. It would have been nice if the store/corporate would have reached out and informed me of my canceled order before I made the trip. Later found out that it was an invalid coupon someone shared on social media, a little more believable that their system was "hacked".

I absolutely love this location. All of the workers are amazing, including but not limited to Elliot, Rob, Mary, etc. they are always so kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend

Big Lots has a lot of bargain prices, as well as some higher priced items. They have a variety of merchandise, but they seemed kind of empty yesterday. Perhaps they are waiting for a shipment.

I went to big lots for the first time today. It is clean, the shelves are well-stocked, and the employees are mostly good. I was shopping, walking while browsing, and one of the employees was behind me with a dolly and I was obviously in her way. It was making me nervous hearing her right behind me. I said to her, am I in your way? She said I need to make a right right there. I then pulled myself into an aisle so she could go past me and make a right. The location she was Targeting could have been made from a different direction. It is my opinion that she should've taken the different path instead of making a customer get out of her way. The employee that checked me out was very nice. Her name was Tanisha. She told me that to get the best prices I should check the sales because there are deep discounts during sales. The regular prices were a price that I would expect at any store, I thought big lots would be a discount. They had 3 to 4 feet pink Christmas trees for $49. They had bags of Halloween candy for $16. They had Burt's bees dog shampoo for 9.99. These are all prices that I feel are full prices. I was coming here to get a deal. I did buy the dog shampoo for 9.99 and I bought some picture nails for 799. I could've got the same price somewhere else. I won't be back. I'd rather pay full price someplace else. All in all, this is a decent store. But the prices are not very low for what you're buying. And I really didn't like feeling rushed down the aisle by the employee with the dolly.

I usually find some nice home decor and garden things here for a good price. They have outdoor patio rugs, lawn chairs and cushions, solar path lights and planters. They also give a military discount.

I use to shop at Big Lots all the time, the prices are a lot higher now, I do like that they give a military discount. They have reasonably priced furniture. They have non perishable food items, cleaning supplies, towels, sheets and patio furniture.

Most of the cashier's are nice but some workers that are stocking are a bit rude when you ask them to please get it's off of tall shelves or places and then when you see a ladder and you do it yourself they get mad. Well then, don't give an attitude if a customer asks for help.

Prior to traveling 30 minutes to this Round Rock Big Lots, i was in search of a mattress and i found one of interest on the website and called ahead to make sure it was in stock. I called this store and Mary answered with so much joy and energy in her voice to help me as she was evening greeting customers as they were walking in the store, she asked what i needed and i told her i was inquiring about the mattress. I gave her the sku number and she was able to find it was in stock and this was my favorite part, she made sure that i was a rewards member!!! So that i could take advantage of all discounts possible and i was coming to make an $800+ purchase so any and all savings was welcomed and she walked me through creating an account to make sure those coupons get sent!! That was by far the best phone service I had ever received from a retail store!!! So i arrive at the store and I’m headed to the mattress section with my 2 daughters, and i was greeted properly by STAR!!!! I had no idea what i was truly looking for in a mattress but STAR gave me her professional and personal opinion,which is what i asked her to give, she gave it and then some!!! She welcomed me and my girls to try out ALL beds and do as i would on my own. She walked away and gave me time for that and after our initial conversation on which type of mattress, i ended up choosing a mattress that i felt would benefit me and husband. I went for a soft mattress and ended up getting a firm mattress. Star sealed the deal for me when she said “ you can’t make a soft mattress firm but you can make firm soft” meaning if the firm was too hard for me i can always buy a pillow top mattress cover which was the best idea!!!! She said the store didn’t have it in stock so she called to the Parmer store to ask if they had it and to hold it. They did and i drove over and got the complete opposite experience!! I left with no mattress and I felt terrible that Mary and Star with through all that nice effort to help me was a waste because they were rude in my first 3 mins in the store. I left and called back to the Round Rock store to tell Star about my experience and had given up as i drove back to Jarrell, Texas. She felt so bad for me and apologized which wasn’t any of her fault but i knew she cared. Star didn’t stop there for me, she had Evelyn who i assume took over her shift to call me and tell me that my mattress had just pulled into the store of the truck!!! Star gave Evelyn the run down and had that mattress held for me and i got back and Evelyn was soooo sweet and pleasant!!! Star made sure i was taken care of that day and i came back and made my purchase and got it delivered today!!! My husband and i love our new bed frame and mattress!!! I want to thank these ladies and for this to go as high as possible because it’s more than just worth of a pack on the back! So thank you Mary, Star, and Evelyn for your outstanding service and support!!!!!!

Staff were very accommodating in helping me find the items that I needed. Drove from Georgetown to your store, and I'll definitely be back.
