I have been getting my cars serviced with Arnold Automotive for 4yrs now and this is the only place I’ll take my cars. Ed, Donna and Jaime are absolutely amazing. They set expectations, meet expectations and very honest shop. They are very flexible with parts procurement, you are allowed to bring your own parts or they are happy to find parts for excellent discounts. I’m so glad someone referred me to this shop 6yrs ago.

I have been taking my BMW here since I moved to Austin from CA 4 years ago. Their services are reliable and prompt. The owners, Ed and Donna have been a pleasure to work with. Ed really knows his stuff and is quick to diagnose any issues I have had. Lots of times they have been able to get parts the same day and complete the service needed. And the best part, their pricing is competitive. I have referred many friends here and everyone has also had the same experience. An easy 5 stars!

i had the need to get some help with my granddaughter's car and I'm in Norman OK . and she is in Austin. my daughter knew of Arnold's automotive and as she was also out of town so I got the pleasure of having Donna help us with our repair needs! I'm a used car dealer in Norman so I'm very familiar with repair procedures. Donna gave me the utmost care and recommendations as to what was needed. I've never been treated any better and was very impressed with the level of professionalism associated with this repair! I highly recommend Donna and her staff to anyone needing repairs done properly, quickly and at a fair price!

Getting work done on a car is often taxing and stressful. I always worried about having an autobody shop take advantage of me, until I started working with Ed and Donna at Arnold Automotive. They are absolutely fantastic. Transparent communication, quick turnaround, and they have a real focus on client happiness. They treat your car like it's their own. It's the only place I will ever take my vehicles.

Amazing service. I called on a Sunday when I was out of town and my daughter's car broke down. Donna proceeded to call FIVE towing companies for me that she trusted to go out and meet my kid. Being a Sunday it was harder to find a tow truck but she helped us through it! Parts were ordered Monday. Car was ready Tuesday. my family is in the car repair business and so I compared what I paid here with what my own father would charge and he said it was more than fair. Great work. Friendly folks. Accessible location. Great communication. Will be my forever go to autoshop in Austin!!

This is a tough review for me to write. I hate to do damage to small businesses, but sometimes people just need to be warned away.
I helped a friend out by paying for their friends at Arnold Automotive to figure out what was wrong with her car, and the owners strung us along for weeks, supposedly waiting for parts. And they ran up over $2600 in repairs, plus the $200 spent towing the car to their business twice.
In the end, the car broke down again, so I took it to a different mechanic, who very quickly identified a crack in one of the valves in the engine, rendering the car's engine unsalvageable. So, in addition to $2600 in repairs that will go to waste, we have to salvage the car, and try to find a new car. Had the owner done a decent job to begin with, we could've used that money toward a new car.
This level of incompetence at this repair shop just cannot be overlooked. They don't answer their phone during business hours. They take two- and three-hour lunches. So obviously they don't take their business seriously.
Add to that, they strung us along for weeks saying they had looked at the car. Dropping by after hours, we noticed that the driver's seat had not been adjusted at all, indicating that the much taller mechanics there had not even attempted to start the car.
It should be noted that they did this to a friend. A friend! What will they do to you, a stranger? I would suggest avoiding Arnold Automotive for your car needs.
