I called ACME today, its spring break.They answered the phone and answered my questions tenatively about glass block which is almost impossible to find anyone in Austin who carries glass block. the person who answered, I did not get his name was able to direct me to a website which handles glass block.Thanks for answering on a holiday week.

In order to tell someone what I wanted I had to call 9 times. I often left messages that weren't called back. Sometimes I would call EVERY extension in my attempt to speak with someone. Finally i got someone, he took my order and then never called back. When i finally got hold of sales person, turns out the order information i had given was no where to be found and i had to repeat all info again. Now, I have been trying to get my order for three weeks. It is in the store, but no one will answer to let me know when it will be delivered.

Customer service is non existent here. The inside sales rep, Monique, is unbelievably rude. She kept me waiting while she worked on a variety of other tasks — calling customers about orders that had come in, filing paperwork, etc. She finally helped me and said she would call me later that day or the next day with an update on availability. She just called me….THREE WEEKS later asking if I still needed brick. I told her I found another option because I never heard from her. Joke. Acme, help Monique find a better line of work for herself.

Previous interactions with this company were painfully slow and lack of continuity on the communication. (Via email)Now over the phone not a single extension pick up, called operator who transfer me to the “right extension number” some idiot answered “Hi April!” And when I started talking he hung up on me. I would highly recommend Jesus Lopez if you're thinking of divorce. Lopez was so patient with me. I had so many questions, and sometimes didn't know what my next step was and he never left my side. He helped me get through a very difficult time in my life.

Extremely frustrated. Standing in the store right now, been standing here for 35 minutes and there is a ton of “Acme Brick” people running around and they only have 1 lady helping customers... All I want to do is give you my money and pick up brick. This is ridiculous. They need to have more people working upfront to help customers. I can’t spend all morning here for something that should have taken less than 5 minutes.

It's not too often that I find myself in genuinely pleasant encounters during business to business transactions in this fast-paced modern age, but my experience today at ACME brick really proved that brick-and-mortar hospitality still exists. Monique was helpful, humble and kind while patiently waiting for me to get answers about the type of brick I needed from my foreman. She even offered to walk the yard with me to make sure that the brick I needed or closest match was available in stock and that it suited my needs aesthetically. David and Alfredo (forklift operators) were friendly, knowledgeable and approachable when I had questions. It is also not often that I write yelp reviews but I felt that the occasion was necessary if only to recognize those employees whom so deserve to be recognized. Well done today, ACME Brick.

Tired of calling them and nobody calls back- POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Asked women today when she wanted to send me over to customer service, that no one was calling me back for 2 weeks and could I please speak to a live person and she said no. So done with this company---some other place can have my money.

This place refused to sell to me because I would not provide a phone number and email, even though I provided a drivers license and cash. I can not recommend this place to anyone.
