I would give this place a zero for the lack of customer service.the customer service at regio sucks really bad the lady at the front extremely rude to the customers. Me and my mother went to el region to buy some groceries my mom had a question with one of the items price, my mom asked MARIA about the item and MARIA told my mom did you read the sign in an extremely rude way.MARIA should be aware of her rude behavior plus she is the one that works there she should be helping us. she should be the one that would tell us about the price.I hope that el regio meat market place coach her on her customer service. the customer service that MARIA has is very unacceptable.

We went to purchase some chicharron cracklins. And we were told by the meat person employee, to go ahead and go behind the small counter and select the pieces that we wanted. Which we did. As soon as we have completed selecting our pieces. The store manager approaches my husband with another female employee and begins to scold him because he went behind the counter. My husband explained to the store manager that he was just following orders from the meat counter employee. Nevertheless, the manager continued to scold my husband. I understand that they have a process but my husband was just following the orders from the meat counter employee. I know the matter could have been handled more professionally. I did not want to enhance the terrible and embarrassing moment. Which the manager and the female employee forced us to endure.

Bought 10 pound of beef tripas for 2.89 a pound and end up with 3 pounds of meat and 7 pounds of fat. Total cost is 28 dollars and change and ended up with only 3 pounds of meat!

??I went yesterday and I noticed no prices was mark down for many many items. I was wondering what happened? I just grab a few items who had price mark down. I ask cashier about that and she said if I want something, she can Scan it and tell me price, but can you imagine do the line for each item is wasting time!!! I left and went to Kroger to get my long list done!!! I hope they consider put prices for their items!!! ?

If I could put no stars I would. Today my mom and I went to buy at this store and she told me to go get a shopping cart when I got back I noticed she was speaking to a man who said he was the owner. He was assuming the worst while my mom was waiting for me to come back with the shopping cart to put the items she had grabbed. He was very disrespectful. We have always shopped there and never had an issue before until today. He just lost us as customers due to his “thinking that we were stealing the items”. We have the money to pay. We will not be back there anymore.

I go in here quite frequently to buy large quantities of meat. I NEVER spend LESS than $80.00 to $90.00 twice a month! Admittedly, I get there between 9:00 to 9:20 (I work until 8:30pm). I usually buy the short ribs and sometimes I have them cut on the bone for soup. Tonight I got there about 9:17, they close at 10:00 Pm. I asked for my usual then I ask for the short ribs and because HE THOUGHT I was going to ask him to cut them, he tells me meat prices changed so they are $10.49 a pound!!!! The sign said $3.49 and I was going to buy them whole to smoke!!! The idea that someone would LIE simply because they don't want to do something is DISGUSTING!!!!. I have 3 friends with food trucks in the area that I referred there. So maybe my business does not matter but I hope they see the other loss when those owners start going BACK to LaMichoicana for business! I ALWAYS try to support small businesses of color to support minorities. But THIS makes it hard! I WILL NOT BE BACK!

Disgusting place! I went on a Sunday and attempted to order food from the restaurant counter. They directed me to the cash register. I then ordered a chicken and some tacos. When I return the ladies in the back gave me the tacos but they didn’t give me the chicken. When I asked where is the chicken they said they don’t make it on Sundays. The lady was very angry and walked to the front of the store to yell at her coworker for selling the chicken. I waited a very long time to see if they would be able to switch my order for more tacos. Finally went back to the restaurant side where a mid sized medium brown ROACH was crawling around the salsa bar. I told the lady look there is a roach on the salsa bar. She gently swatted the roach down to the floor with her hand and squashed it. She then went back to the tortilla Grill and continued flipping my tortillas without gloves. All while acting like I was the rude one for pointing out the roach. Just lovely.

Went in there only to buy meat (beef) for pozole, but to my surprise store is kept well stocked on all products at almost same prices as HEB, therefore bought everything I needed for it there. Store kept very clean, product is fresh, they bake their bread at bakery daily and offer “menudo & barbacoa” every weekend. Definitely my go to for all my reunions from now on. Excellent customer service and product quality. Family owned business.

So...place is super packed on Sundays. There was a line just to get into parking lot...There was a line at the meat counter...There was a line to the back of the store at checkout. So I finally get to the head of the line and "Bean Can Man" decides he's gonna avoid getting in line and walks his bean can self right up to the check out. Just did a side maneuver. Wow...and the cashier instead of telling him to go to the back of the line, starts scanning his 6 cans of beans. So as I'm leaving he's walking his bean can self back into the store. Probably forgot the Kaeopectate.

Not friendly to people who don't need a mask. Or people who have decided it's enough with a the masks.... Down the street the Michoacana doesn't force you to wear a mask. I realize this is. Delicate subject, but for those who don't want to wear a mask, this isn't a friendly place for us. I'm sure the meat and barbacoa are as good as ever, but until they start allowing costumers to make their own decisions I'll be shopping down the street at the michoacana

Service at the restaurant in the back wasn't good. We've been there before and the food and service was good. This time however, the service reflected the quality of the food which was not good. Bought gorditas; lady in the kitchen did not have enough for the order and was complaining about making more from scratch. Didn't wear gloves when prepping the food either. Not coming here for food anymore.
