I did drop mails at the post office on Monday morning for the same postal zip code area (2 miles away from the post office). Today is Friday evening, recipients did not receive them yet. The serving agent did ask me if I wanted 2 days express delivery for $32 dollars (3 letters) but I paid regular 1st class postage instead of express. Now I am realizing that I should have paid for two days express delivery for the same zip code. Hard to believe it takes more than 5 business days for delivering mails in same zip code.

This place is pretty rundown and not well taken care of. The temperature inside was warm and uncomfortable, definitely not as cool as it should be. The wait was a bit long, which made the experience even more frustrating. When I asked for a receipt while dropping off my package, the employee gave me attitude instead of being helpful. They don’t offer photo services for passports, which is inconvenient if you’re trying to take care of everything in one visit. The scanner for labels doesn’t work either, so they have to manually type in the tracking numbers. On top of that, the parking sucks and is very limited. I wouldn’t come here unless it’s your absolute last option.

PLEASE AVOID this USPS office. I cannot even understand why they even call it a post office any more. They can only received mail and do not send out mail unless you have your own postage.
I hope it can stay up and running just for the nostalgia of going to collect my parent's mail from their P.O. Box that is still there to this day from all the way back in the 60's...

This office is run down, understaffed, underfunded, and doesn’t function as it should. I’d give a second star for the patience of the employees but the rest of the madness cannot be compensated for. I can’t imagine working in those conditions so I understand why they’re understaffed. The customer service room looks basically condemned with signs saying construction starts in January, to be completed in February. It is now June with no progress. We’ve been in our new construction home for over a month with no mailbox because they can’t be bothered to assign our mailbox. The boxes are set up and they have the keys and everything to accomplish this task for well over a month. This means we’ve had too many trips to this post office to pick up our mail, which sometimes arrives, sometimes not. It’s a special kind of lottery. But in all these trips we’ve witnessed that they can’t even remain open for their normal business hours because of staffing issues. We still do not have mail keys. I am incredibly disappointed with the entire experience. We are also making a congressional complaint because this clearly goes far beyond customer service problems.

I am totally for the USPS but I can totally understand why the government wants to shut down USPS when I visit offices like this one. And I know no one cares about these reviews, clearly, but this is one of the worse post offices I've been to. About 5 of us stood by the drop off window waiting for someone and heard people working in the back laughing. We waited 15 minutes before we started to knock and a other 15 minutes and nobody came out. I had to leave because workers did not come out. Do you guys want to lose your jobs? Because as awful as this office is, I can totally see this place losing all funding and being shut down. Awful. Will drive extra to not come here.

Do NOT come here for passport services, unless you enjoy a good scavenger hunt.
Online, it mentions this location offers photo services as well as money orders. Neither of those are true here today. You have to go down the road for photo services, which cost an additional $20, then of course go somewhere else for a money order.
Have an appointment? Who cares. Walk-ins are processed at the same time and in our case ahead of us. Had this been known, we would not have scheduled the next earliest, which was a two-week wait. A precious two weeks to miss out on when you’re already doing an expedited application.
Photo included inside the building that calls out photo services on site, for added emphasis on this not being a one stop shop.

Their mailmen do a terrible job of delivering packages. I have lost so many packages since they’re my main post office in Rosenberg. Some packages would arrive 2 - 3 months later, it’s ridiculous. And their service is super slow, always have to spend 20 - 30 mins waiting in line.
