The furniture looks great, but I’ve never purchased plants. I typically go there just for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, but this store is no longer my first choice to shop for ASCP. The customer service (friendliness/warm and welcoming feeling) is inconsistent, and sometimes after leaving there, I feel like an inconvenience or like I’ve interrupted the owner or her staff when I go shopping there, even though I rarely have a question or need help. For a small business, it’s just disheartening and I’d rather patronize another business for my ASCP needs.

Very nice people. The plants are healthy and reasonably priced. Love all the refurbished furniture as well as the newer pieces. Definitely worth a stop

I absolutely love my new whiskey barrel liquor cabinet. It matches the furniture in my office and provides the rustic I was looking for. Love the lights and wheels somi can entertain when needed.

Beautiful store with so many pieces of custom chalk painted furniture. Prices are very reasonable. Owners were extremely helpful and patient with us while my daughter struggled with which pieces to buy. Loved the selection of live plants! Can’t wait to go back.!

This was my first time here. I always wanted to go in this business but just hadn't had time. Well, everyone should make the time to go get a glimpse of heaven! Plants, flower arrangements, gifts, garden decor and ideas galore! It is so beautiful and the owner is so sweet and inviting! I will definitely go back for gorgeous gifts for myself and others! Love, Loved it!!

I am finally writing this review after almost 3 months of my last and final visit. I really had to let my anger subside. It is 2022, and almost 2 yrs after the outbreak of the Covid virus has invaded all our lives. I have only visited Portilla twice, as I am from The Woodlands area (over an hour away). I had been saving money to go there once I was vaccinated and purchase many plants and fairy garden items.My mom and I walked in (wearing masks), and the blonde lady on the furniture side was checking out a women (Asian) , and as she is taking her money she begin to raise her voice to the women, and sarcastically begin to tell her that she couldn't understand her, and that she "hated when people wear masks and try and talk". My mom and I were on the plant side and couldn't believe what we were hearing. I was furious and felt so bad for the women. She quickly left and sat in her car looking humiliated. I raise my voice and said, "im not spending my money here! You should not have said that , and keep your opinion to yourself. What kind of busniess owner are you?" And she smiled and waved.If she doesn't want to wear a mask, thats on her , but to get upset because someone else chooses too, is ignorant. Shame on her.

Found an item on Facebook marketplace from their store and it was a seamless process to pay for my Heywood Wakefield buffet on their store website. I was able to get the item curbside's to my car. Park by the double doors on Avenue G. It's a cute place - furniture and plants. Also very clean restrooms. Their furniture prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!!
