My two young children and I were followed around by a staff member for nearly an hour on Sept 7, 2024. We were the only African-American people in the store at the time, and it was clear that we were being racially profiled. No one else was treated this way, and it was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I have been a frequent customer at this store for a long time, consistently spending no less than $150 per visit.
I had no bag with me, just my cell phone and keys, so there was absolutely no reason for us to be followed like this. It’s unfortunate because this store has always been a convenient place for us to shop for basic clothes when we don’t have time to go in the city. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I hope management addresses this issue because no one should be made to feel this way while shopping.

It was my favorite store until today, a bad wait with the cashier who was very rude and not at all friendly, it seems like he's there by force. I wanted to buy some very pretty dresses but I couldn't do it ??

Melrose has really cute clothes but they are completely overpriced especially being that DDs Discount is next door with half the price , at the end of the day these are all cheap fast fashion clothes.

One of my favorites!! Seem to have a friendly staff everytime I've been. Good prices cute clothes and all departments. Great for gifts. Right now you can do layaways starting at $5 down and up to $100.

Overall a really nice store and excellent quality clothes. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice too! Wish I would've gotten her name. I'll definitely be coming back!Edited to add, y'all have nice style everything! I have no complaints. I won't be shopping anywhere else, this is my go to store from now on for me and my family. And the people that work here are so nice and helpful! Makes it a joy to shop there.

It's that Melrose Place again. I'm surprised it's not in 90210 zipcode. Melrose is a mixed bag. You can actually find some really great deals here if you're lucky and we definitely both like this location better than the one in the southwest of town right off of 59, but having said that, there are definitely some things about it that could be a little bit better, such as organization and consistency. This location is pretty untouched and hardly busy at all because it's kind of on the backside of Rosenberg nowhere near the highway where most shoppers don't venture to unless you already live in Rosenberg around this area, so it's kind of good for finding hidden gems and that's why I gave it the extra star.
