This pains me to say. But as of today. Lowe’s has made me a Home Depot Customer. Called the store. No help. Called the 1800 number and I was on hold. Then sent to complete a survey. OF WHAT? No one ever picked up the phone.
Bought a generator today. Without of course knowing ITS DEFECTIVE! And you know what they told me to do. Call Generac and have them fix it!! (Cus I took it out of the box, how else would one know Its defective??!!
PEOPLE. ITS JULY 10. We just went thru a hurricane and have no power. I just dropped a rack and now they won’t help me. Didn’t have a problem taking my money.
I only wanted to exchange. Expressed this several ways. Just give me a new one. Because by the time the manufacturer fixes it. It will just go in the garage.
Even GENERAC is appalled by this!!
LOWES!! Do the Right thing!! Generac will give you your $ back for the damn thing. They told me as much!!

My elderly parents bought two toilets and paid $500 for installation
Almost 6 weeks later the toilets are still sitting in their living room where they were delivered to.
The problem is Lowe’s now outsources their labor to Angie’s list. This means they are at the mercy of the contractors to accept and perform the job. Given that the job is small and they are likely not offering the job for the full $500 that was paid (in order to make more money) it is not surprising that this is the case.
However when my 84 year old mother has to make repeated trips and calls to Lowe’s to always be told “we will get someone out there tomorrow”, yet tomorrow never comes, very disappointing.
I inquired about a refund on the labor since they clearly cannot perform the services they provided and was told it was not refundable
Very disappointing decision by Lowe’s and very disappointing follow up on their part to continually pass the back instead of ensuring the problem they created gets fixed.

We decided to get a pretty expensive grill from here. It was supposed to be ready for pickup last Friday. Tracking still showed it was in transit by EOD. We called Lowe’s for updates through the weekend and no one knew anything. They wanted us to call THEIR vendor, make that make sense… I’m a vendor myself and would never expect a business’s customer to call me that’s weird. Anyway. Monday came around, tracking showed it was supposed to be delivered then. By 6pm it still wasn’t there and of course they had no answers or attempted to help or figure it out for us. It was a “u deal w it” situation. We cancelled the order. We will spend our money elsewhere. Do business with any other company besides Lowe’s!

I'm at Lowe's right now and they have this new policy that you know on returns and they harass you completely about doing returns. I'm seriously thinking about not doing business with this company any longer because of their employees attitudes and also the policies that they're putting in place with returns.

I bought a mower and I returned it because it was failing and they told me that they were going to repair it if it was a factory problem but they sent it to Austin TX and it took 2 weeks and they called me to pick it up and they couldn't find it. I paid 132 00 for the repair and They told me that it had a factory warranty and the supervisor told me that I had to pay for the repair, the repair did not work, I do not recommend Lowes, they do not respond to their errors, I recommend HOME DEPOT.

I rented a scaffolding ladder from the rental service. When I returned it a day later, they said there were six pieces missing. I wasn't with them when they counted the pieces. They charged me nearly $350 for parts. The rental service workers stole the parts. I wanted to look at the camera records, but
they said I couldn't look without police permission. If they were sure of themselves, they would have them look at those records. Now I will go to the police, complain and ask for the records. Those records will reveal who did what. Then I will see who did what. And after looking at the records, I will share these records on all social media.
