Even after leaving a review 8 days ago and contacting them 1 additional time, I am still not able to get anyone from Honda Fort Bend to schedule a time to bring my vehicle in for a safety recall. If it is too difficult for them to schedule an appointment, I can only imagine the challenges they will have doing the maintenance work.I was even told a Manager would call me back, guess it is even a challenge for the Managers to make a phone call.

This is my second review, because now I find something else upsetting! I had oil and filter change, plus tire rotation, recall item fixed. My black Honda Odyssey gets serviced meticulously! I checked the tire pressures and not one matched on the vehicle display. I just noticed, see by attached photo that although I brought in vehicle for oil change they did not reset the display. It reads 40% when it should read 100%. Now I may burn 2 hours out of my day (30 min drive time each way) to fix very minor things that they either forgot or were too lazy to do! I just may go to YouTube and for the fix! Now if a could fix the Radar remote switch they repositioned and left dangling that would be a miracle!

Will never go here again. they took me for $3,000 with their underhanded tactics and another $2,000 lying to me about 2 very important things. I was duped by them and unfortunately my own stupidity. On the plus side our daughter in law was going to buy a Honda Pilot from them but when she found out how they operate she bought an entirely different make, We also have a neighbor that wanted a Honda Accord but went to another Honda dealer to get it after he found out. Hopefully many others will follow. If possible I would give them a -3 stars

At the beginning of April, I ran over some tire debris from an 18-wheeler on the highway. This caused a flat on the right passenger side tire. After getting two new tires, I noticed a rattling noise while driving. The noise sounds like the tire is about to fall off. I took my car to Gillman Honda Fort Bend on April 19, 2023. I explained that I ran over some debris, got a flat and now there's a noise. I was advised that the strut on the right side of the car needed to be replaced. My car is a 2022 Civic that was purchased at Gillman Fort Bend. They quoted me a little over $900 to get the part fix. My car is under warranty but according to Gillman, I was told since I caused the damage, it would not be covered under warranty. I contacted American Honda and was able to open a case on April 19. I emailed the quote I received from Gillman. On April 21 I received a voicemail from Rich the case manager. I called back a few hours later and left a message. On April 24, I called American Honda and was told that Rich was on the phone and will reach out to me later. I did not receive a callback until later that week on April 28. Rich was very passive-aggressive. He stated several times that they have a large volume of cases and return calls according to priority and that he doesn't believe that they are going to help me in any way with this, but he'll see what he can do. He told me that he'll call me back the following week (May 4, 2023) with an update. When he did call, again very passive-aggressive, and stated that he doesn't believe they will do anything but that he will do his best to advocate on my behalf. At the end of the call, Rich stated that he will call me back with updates on May 11, 2023. I've yet to receive a callback. This is the second Honda I've owned because of the quality. However, the quality of customer service I have received, from purchasing the car to this new situation I am currently experiencing has been subpar. In September 2021 I went to Gillman Honda Ford Bend and place an order for the 2022 Civic. They refused to give me the paperwork or a receipt even though I signed it and left a deposit. According to the sale, the expected delivery date for my 2022 Civic was Dec 2021. In November 2021 I reached out to Gillman to check on the progress of the delivery and I was not able to get any information. No one had any recollection of a sale transaction. After all of the run around over the phone, I went to Gillman and spoke with Cesar the manager. He pretty much accused me of lying until I gave him my bank statement that showed the deposit, as well as the printout of the picture I took back in September 2021. On November 13, 2021, an order was finally placed for my vehicle. The estimated time I received for the delivery was pushed back several times. Twice I received a call from Gillman, attempting to sell me a different car (more expensive) than the one that I ordered because Cesar stated that it made more sense for the dealership. The quantity of service was poor. Honda representatives do not do what they say they will. It starts from the top! Honda should set a better standard for the quality of customer service they provide to their loyal customers. I have a teen that will be in need of a vehicle soon and I am not too sure about continuing with Honda.--

Why I will not return to Gillman Honda. in 2021 I purchased a CRV. Recently, I noticed the tread depth measured 4/32 on my front left tire. This prompted me to check the other tires. Tread depth for each was very low based on the mileage of 16,317. I can never remember encountering such poor performance for a set of tires included on a new car purchase. Since I had used the dealership for many years. I called for advice on how to proceed. I was instructed to schedule an appointment with the service department. I did so and after arriving; the service representative and the service manager both told me they did not handle tire claims. I acknowledged this as something I was aware of; I was simply there to determine if they might share who to contact and something about the process. They had no interest in assisting or offering assistance particularly the service manager. He finally ask the service representative to provide me a phone number for Hankook. I later called Discount Tire in Rosenberg. Greg helped me and supplied the information I had been seeking. Apparently there is no mileage warranty for tires supplied on new vehicles. BUYER BEWARE.

One of the worse customer service I ever got. Not from sales people who tried their best to keep my business, but rather the management team. They don't return calls regarding a car just purchased from them couple of days ago , they ignore your request and effort to get an answer from them .Bad management team. Very sad and frustrating! ! My purchase of $35 k car was on 11/24/2022

Have been trying to reach them to find out if my car is repaired after leaving it there 3 weeks ago. After making an appt to have car looked at, it didn't get seen for 3 days is how it all started. Had to drive to the dealership 20 miles one way just to find out the Mr Na had no clue car was there. After multiple apologies he gave us his cell phone number whic he says is easier for him to be reached at...NOT! 7 phone calls and text messages still no response regarding CRV. Even asked to speak to the service manager Dennis and no response to this day. 5000.00 quote to repair a harness that we were told was our fault...possibly. All we want is an update! I guess I should have read the reviews first so my bad but probably the worst customers service from any business in my 60 years on this earth. Please don't take your car here. PLEASE DONT.

Chile, I know yall are lying to me! The reviews at Gillman are so terrible lol. This is so unfortunate because I truly appreciate the guys that I've connected with on every visit to Honda. Let's start here- I purchased my 2022 Honda Accord Sport at this location in December of 2021. Yes, an early Christmas gift to myself, and Sunday was my sales guy! I just love him, we previously worked together at Toyota of Katy (another story for another day, no I am not in sales and no I do not want to be, lol) I had no clue Sunday worked here at Honda, but it was meant to be because that's who was suppose to sell me this vehicle. During each of my visits, I've had the pleasure of working with Dennis and Jose and they are wonderful guys! I told Dennis this past Saturday, "man people really hate yall on Yelp *laughs* but that won't be me and that has never been my experience" So Dennis if you're reading this- it's me! My favorite thing about Gilman Honda is the customer service and the customer center- hella coffee and tea options + the fixings. Necessary when you're waiting all day at this place. Thank you for the great service. So, I am going with 4 stars because there's always a small space for growth (we all need this). Wondering if they are short-staffed, due to the lengthy wait time for oil changes. For example- I scheduled an appointment at 7 AM on a Friday morning and I didn't leave until close to 10 AM. While I am aware these things take time, I do not like to look within for patience in order to sit that long. Second, I was told when I purchased my car that I would receive free oil changes always- this came from the finance man, whom I worked with at Toyota too and I do not remember his name. The thing is this- I am fully aware that you tell customers lots of really pretty, nice things in order to get a bag and sell cars, but do not lie to me because I am not a fool. Respectfully. My second oil change was honored based on what I shared with the guy. Thank you to him (can't remember his name) I also understand that during this era, during this inflation, the car business is in shambles. However, keep your word and meet the needs of the customer. All in all, Gillman Honda is a good place with great staff/customer service. I'll be back obviously because I need another expensive ass oil change. Hehe

How does a whole tire and rim comes off a car while you driving and the want me to $800 to repair replace but any money or $400 when they have these professionals rotate these tires and say they it’s my fault the rim got cracked and a tire and rim fell off but I’m not understanding the lugs is what hold the rim on why should I pay anything this is ridiculous and Honda is a major company everyone enjoys driving a Honda Accord Civic

Only nice thing I can say about this place is the sales manager (African American man) seems like a decent guy but I understand it's a business they got to run and make money. I felt very rushed during the process and the sales guy: Sunday Salami was very aggressive with his tactics. Be careful when going here because you'll need a lot of information before making a purchase. I can tell you FOR SURE that they'll mark up their prices on vehicles to get you a "good deal" . You have to do your research and prices on the vehicles before you make your way here. They want you to sign everything so fast and it was not comfortable. Once you go there, you'll see what I'm talking about. Watch out for the slimy sales tactics by giving you what you want for "trade in" and "work with the price". They'll budge a lot on their prices because their price they quote you on is so much higher. I decided to back out before signing any papers and they were very defensive saying they'll hold the title to my car till I'm back, I told them I need it back for my wife to sign but they insisted she does not need to do any of that. This was a great decision on my end to end up leaving and going to Gillman Honda Houston to explore other options. They literally called 20 min after I left and kept insisting to come back and finish up the paperwork. They also said many people are wanting the vehicle in transit, I told them that it's fine and still kept calling at least 10x. I wanted them to send a picture of the breakdown prices for me and Sunday Salami could not do that for me. Salesman here will ACT like they give you a good deal BUT it's just them upcharging on the cars then lowering it to make you think it's the "best deal". EX: they quoted me on a Honda EX "22 for 41k drive outPLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP TO SAVE YOUR VALUABLE MONEY AND TIME. *Do your research on prices before coming in here, don't get fooled by these guys

I run the sales and finance department for a large RV dealer, and I highly recommend Gilman Honda Fort Bend. I bought there, and had a great experience. But the service department just blew me away Monday! Jessica went above and beyond to help my son get his AC fixed that same day without having to spend an arm and a leg---She FOUND a way to help us. It is very rare nowadays to find service like we received from Jessica. I will be trading my Accord in for another one soon, and I will, without a doubt, be buying from Gilman Honda Fort Bend. You have earned a customer for life from me and my family!

Bought a Lexus RX 350 from there in November 2021, I didn't notice that the transmission was bad until the next day after I bought it, I told them about the problem, they lied and said they fixed it and that there was no problem with the transmission. Lies, I don't know if they lied to me because of the color of my skin, and didn't take very good care of us. They didn't even fill the tank with gas when I bought it and it had pretty much no gas in it when I picked it up, when they supposedly fixed the transmission... I had to take it to Lexus, and they treated me like a person, and someone who appreciated my business there. Buying a vehicle from Gilman Honda/Subaru/whoever, was the worst experience of my life. I'm seriously thinking of filing a discrimination lawsuit against them. Do not buy a vehicle from them, especially if you are a person of color. They don't care about you. They lied to my face about everything!

I believe their technicians don't really go through your car, they only go through their check list. I took my car for service, my battery was "tested" and it was perfect according to their technician. Less than 24hr later my car had to be towed away because the battery was completely dead. In a different occasion, I reported the homelink needed to be replaced. Again, according to the technician it was operating as expected (signal strength and everything). I had to pull the agent to my car and show him the homelink was dead, that it was impossible they had tested it. Similar situation with the injectors of my car, the technician only cleared the alarm and call it good (instead of fixing the issue). I took my car to a different agency and they reported the injectors needed to be changed. My advice, go somewhere else to have your car inspected or fixed.
