Deceptive, Inconsiderate, and downright dishonest. My experience with Gillman of Fort Bend.Drove 174 from Liberty Hill, TX to purchase Stock# 0ET0060A a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited list on Carguru and Gillmans website at $22,981 called ahead and spoke with Ismail Butler, who confirmed the online price and texted me additional pictures. I advised I would be traveling in from the Austin area a 2-1/2hr trip each way to see, drive, and purchased the vehicle if all was as advertised and the car was In acceptable condition.Arrived at 5:47pm and met Ismail, did the walk around and then test drove the vehicle. Identified a few things that needed attention (scrap on the passenger side front tint, broken trim on drivers seat, dented molding on passenger front seat, and incorrectly installed splash shield to the lower fascia) but overall the car was acceptable for the price. Talked it over with the lady and she agreed so we were ready to move forward with the purchase. We came pre approved with our own financing ready to buy with no trade in, just a straight purchase. We told Ismail we agreed to purchase and that's where it all went wrong.First we were told/sold about Gillmans Lifetime Engine Warranty that was clearly advertised on the vehicles windshield by a flyer affixed, however upon reading the fine print the warranty does not extend to vehicles older than 5 years and/or over 80k miles. So even though it was clearly advertised on the car the warranty did not apply as the model year was a 2017 and the mileage was just shy of 82k miles. Deceptive advertising.Ismail then went to the finance department to get the summarized numbers for us to agree to before the formal contract was drawn up. After waiting for financing he came back with the numbers and a flyer for a protection plan. The numbers tacked on roughly an additional $2500 on top of the advertised price on the mentioned protection plan. Ismail told us this protection was already added to the vehicle and included a window film protection, wheel lugnut locks, and nitrogen filled tires... I immediately declined to pay this as 1, it wasn't in the advertised price of the vehicle, 2 it wasn't any service I asked for, needed, or wanted, 3 the vehicle clearly has scraps in the passenger side glass completely through the tint onto the glass which we pointed out to Ismail upon the walk through, 4 the costs of $2500 was not only hidden until this point but also highly obscene in comparison to the costs of these items/services if purchased privately (window tint is about $500 for the entire car, a set of 4 wheel locks for Toyota is about $35-$50 online, and nitrogen fill is FREE with our Costco membership). We were then asked to sign/initial the summary stating we would purchase the vehicle if finance removed the roughly $2500 in fees and got the original deal back to advertised price, tax, title, reg. We did, and Ismail we back to Financing, at this point we felt deceived and hit with a bait and switch but waited on Ismail. Eventually he came back and started discussing us splitting the fee or meeting them in the middle, which I again declined, and told him we would just be going home as we felt we were misled and the added hidden fee was a slap in the face after spending $80 in diesel and 2-1/2 hours driving for the vehicle. Ismail went back to finance l then returned and asked me to come to finance to discuss the fee, I declined as I felt there was nothing to discuss short of the fee being removed and the dealership honoring the pricing they advertised. As we were leaving Ismail returned with a person from Finance who made a bad situation worse, as he stated the he had other people willing to pay the fee and Finance through the Gillman versus self financing. He also stated that the advertised price was a "pricing strategy" and then told us "sorry you wasted your time" adding insult to injury. Another $80 in diesel, 2-1/2hrs back, and babysitter fees. All to be slapped in the face by Gillman.

I was having all services done at Gillman until last year. I had a pathfinder in a oil change and with tire rotation and battery. I was informed that my battery was in good condiiton and I paid and thought nothing more of it, Exactly less than 24 hours, as I was leaving the Texas Medical Center, my car would not start. After trying to establish a decent charge to the battery, which it would not do. I finally called AAA and the technician discovered that the battery had exploded. Considering it was less than 24 hours at Gillman, I called Eddie. I explained to him that whoever checked my battery had not done a complete job. So Eddie was to convince me that mybattery ws checked and did not agree. No one reached out to me. I had to purchase a new battery from AAA. I will not trust the team nor the service departmentm, because if something as simple as checking the battery was not done, then I am definitely done with Gillman service department.

I contacted the dealership about a new van. We went around in circles, they couldn't figure out what I wanted. Sent me a list of used Chrysler cars. Finally, after I emailed them to ask if anyone there understood English, I received a pissy reply that they understood English, but didn't have any vans. Someone there could have told me that in the first place. There are several other Nissan dealers around, and I will shop one of them. Living two miles from Gilman be damned. Wasn't worth looking on their site. Total joke.

This dealership is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt ease while buying my car and not pressured to make a decision on the spot. I was able to test drive a few cars and felt incredibly comfortable doing so. I highly recommend buying your next used or new car here! This is my new used car and it looks almost brand new. This particular Nissan does a wonderful job. You will not regrets buying your next car here!

Called them because there were the closest to the house, and my Dad used to by from Gillman back in the day they were on 59 so I thought it would be great experience. Boy was I wrong took it in after talking the Andrew, which after I got there realized he had to clue as to what's going on asked for service manager, they bring out Sean Miller and he thought everything was a joke . This jerk literally laughed in my face . I wonder why they only have 2.5 star's people take your cars else where Gillman Nissan sucks big time. I'll be calling Jason Gilman today, to see how it goes, not expecting much ,seems to be the way they train them over there. Really felt like crap when I left there . Never took the time to try and fix the issue. I'm also calling back Nissan of North America and let them know about the issue as well as my Sisters good friend at channel 11, kinda felt like it was a racial thing.Smdh

We purchased two cars from this dealership and our buying experience was ok each time. Negotiations are to be expected so I understand that part. Today was the first time we used their service department, and it was a horrible experience. They tried to upsell services because they could see that it was our first visit there. Why chose to defraud customers at their visit to your department? For a Nissan Altima with 37,000 miles, why do I need engine decarb service or automatic transmission fluid service? These state that "immediate attention required." I have my owner's manual and I learned to read a long time ago. The issue I went for was a warning light about the speed sensor, which we already knew about from another shop that ran the diagnostics and gave us the codes. Service rep, Javion, said we would have to pay $145 for a diagnostic check to find out what is causing the warning light to come on. I said we got that information for free from a local auto shop. They also recommended that we go to the dealership to get the sensor repaired since it is a manufacturing defect on the 2017 Altima. There was a lot of double talk from the Nissan rep about their service also providing the codes for free but I pointed out that they only stated "visual inspection shows codes further check out is needed." Then, he said I would have to pay to get more specific code information regarding the problem but they would not charge for the diagnostics report, if we use them for the repairs. WHAT? This is not the way to retain customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was looking to trade in my chevy Tahoe knowing it had an engine issue. I disclosed this on the phone in speaking with them after I sent pictures of the outside and inside(an extremely clean truck) . I was very clear "I know it has a knock, I don't want to drive it and yall offer pennies. Please do not waste my time." The scammer called me back about 10mins later and said high end 7k if the whole engine needs to be replaced 4k, but the knock isn't an issue. Now mind you I drive this vehicle 30min to trade it in and when I get there they tell me $500 then want me to carry a $400-$500 note on a damn sentra. I was very clear and upfront with them from the beginning and asked for the same thing in return. Instead they tried to hustle me thinking because I'm getting a car for my son I'd cave. I've bought plenty of cars so no I don't do that. If you can pull push or tow your vehicle to the lot and it cranks that's 2k off rip. This dealership is full of it and I wouldn't trust them to sell me air. If you buy from them you will be getting a terrible deal and you will be getting screwed over...DO NOT GO HERE.

Overly aggressive sales techniques and wasted my whole day. Not interested in helping only making a sale. They are also shady. Their prices on car fax are lower than what's on the lot. Just be aware that you're going to get hosed coming here.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Gillman Nissan in Rosenberg. I took a vehicle in for service and the technicians basically said "that's just the way the Armada rides". I made an appointment so I could leave the vehicle for an adequate inspection. However the tech insisted on a test ride instead. One technician talked over me when I tried to explain the issue in detail. I had to explain the same issue over and over. Its almost as if it was a series of Twilight Zone. Long story short, they looked underneath the vehicle for no longer than 10 seconds and said all is good. Again, do yourself a favor and go to a dealership where the service department techs have common courtesy and common sense to adequately resolve the issues.

Horrible experience. This location pulled a bait and switch. I needed to purchase a car over the weekend. I did research and called the dealership ahead of time with the stock number of the vehicle I wanted from the website. I called to confirm it was available. It was. We discussed price and I went to the dealer after work. The vehicle was listed at $13,888 I was told I could purchase for $13,000 out the door. When I got there the salesman Haze told me there was a MANDATORY $1600 for a pro pac which "gets the vehicle ready for the road" if the expense is mandatory then the actual cost of the vehicle is $15,488. this vehicle was also a 2019 with low miles so why it required a $1600 expense to ensure it was "ready for the road makes no sense". Very frustrating being I live 30 mins away from the dealership and didn't have to waste my time.

I just bought a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 or my daughter and had a wonderful experience dealing with AB. AB was very precise and addressed all of my needs quickly. Looking forward to purchasing another car for my son. AB is the man, don't waste your time dealing with anyone else.

The absolute best experience I've ever had buying a car. My salesman AB was very professional with the right personal touch. He addressed all of my concerns, comedic and apathetic. It was like I was talking to a long time friend. I'm having back issues due to pregnancy and he made sure I was comfortable at all times and kept me hydrated in this terrible heat. Excellent communication and clear, direct, transparency filled with facts and honesty. I trust that I made the best decision because and have the best confidence in AB. Look for him when you visit if you want the best!

My car as totaled so I had to buy a new car I made an appointment to test drive the rogue sport. Wasn't too thrilled with it but my sales man Anson then recommended the kicks. So he lett me test drive it and i feel very comfortable with it and feel in love with it. The whole experience was great. Took a while but that's what car shopping is all about. And I have to say Anson was great he didn't rush or pushed me and was very helpful. Also the finance I forgot his name I think it was Jason he was great to when it came to the finance part.
